Liquid Smoke, All Natural Pecan, 4 Ounce Bottle

While this isn't pure smoke, the price was right and it arrived quickly in a pinch. It's easy to control how much you dispense. The pecan makes for a milder smoke flavor, and the other ingredients add a bit of tang and savoriness. It tasted great on the jerky I required it for, and I've added it to other meals with good results. Much more versatile than I expected. I even added 2 drops to a can of Campbell's stew and, with a healthy dose of Lizano sauce, it became edible enough almost to finish. Impressive.I used this as a 1:1 replacement for normal, pure hickory liquid smoke with jerky. The added ingredients we're not noticeable (though appreciated in other meals). It turned out just fine and I don't actually feel the need to buy a replacement until this runs out. With the pecan being so mild, I will try half again what any recipe calls for in the future.If you're looking for pure smoke, this isn't it. But it's worth being in your refrigerator on its own merit.

Very good for adding some smoke flavor to your dishes. I put just a bit in my egg and potato salads as well as my chili and proteins, people always compliment and ask what's my secret, but I'm not sharing secrets!

We are all about taste of smoke in our house. This product helps to flavor any meal either cooking in the stove, in the oven or barbecuing. The smell is one we love which is pecan flavor. The bottle opens and shuts easy keeping it mess free. It is the right bottle for the quality it is. It may be alittle more in the expense side but worth the value of the money.

I am a Nigerian that loves cooking Jollof rice. And the best way to cook a jollof rice that makes sense,is by giving it a smokey flavor. I added this Colgin Liquid Smoke into my jollof rice and my boys were licking their fingers. i will buy again and again

I use this on canned sardines and/or mackerel. Just a few shakes with 2 T. MCT oil and I have the most delicious smoked fish. Perfect for a 3 day sardine challenge. Gotta love all those Omega 3's for a healthy microbiome. Great meal and very satiating.

Great addition to a chicken stir-fry or just on my morning eggs!
