Twists, Betrayals, and Unbreakable Bonds: The Cursed Continues Gray & Willow’s Wild Ride
The Cursed picks up right where book one left off, and it’s an intense continuation! Willow is now the head of the Coven, with Gray by her side, and their magical bond is stronger than ever. But while their relationship deepens, Willow struggles to balance leading the Coven and fully embracing her love for Gray. Trust within the Coven, especially concerning Gray, is still a huge issue. After the shocking twist in book one—Gray being Lucifer in disguise—the betrayal stung deeply. In book two, Willow’s dealing with the fallout, healing from a stab wound, and learning that the man she trusted is far from who she thought he was. Trust is scarce, and everyone has their own agendas, but Gray is determined to hold onto her, despite everything. This book is a thrilling ride—steamy, emotional, and full of twists. The ending left me questioning if this is the end of Gray and Willow’s story or if we’ll get more in a third book. There are still some loose ends, but I’m excited to see where this series goes next!

“I’ll watch the world burn before I allow it to force you into something you do not want”
4.5 ⭐️dark academiagotchicparanormal romancedual povThis was a delightful continuation to Willow and Grays story. Picking up right where we left off in The Coven, we are plunged head first into the intense tension and hilarious banter we all love. This story had me gripped until the very end. I couldn’t tell which way it was going, and when I finally thought I did I fell into another twist!Gray’s love for Willow is absolutely divine. The way he cares for her, and shows it in so many different ways is so special to me. There is no shortage of not only spice, but also deep emotions and connection between them that keeps you wanting more. Also, there just so happens to be a little game of cat and mouse?? Woods scene? My WEAKNESS. IYKYK🥵A wonderful finish to an absolutely epic duet. Full of witchcraft, achingly deep romance, and a story that explores the depths of what we think is good and bad. I absolutely devoured this book, and I hope even though this is the end of their duet- we hear more about them and the other characters. I love this world, and Harper’s writing so much! And that ending?? Leaves the door open for us to learn more about a mysterious devil named Beelzebub, and Willows friend Margot!*Always make sure to check triggers, but if you’re anything like me the more TW the better😈*

Book is sissing chapters but story is great!!
Fantastic story but these special editions book are missing a lot of the story. Like all of chapter 47 is missing in the cursed. Pretty big bummer. Glad I was following along with the audio for these books or I would have missed a lot.

Such an intense and crazy ending!
Oh my gosh! This was an insane ride…Picking up right after book 1 Willow is devastated by the betrayal of Grey. This was an epic enemies to lovers story and If you loved book 1 you are absolutely going to crazy for book 2. Just when you thought you had all the details sorted and figured out you are smacked right in the face with even more. This book was a journey filled with twists and turns that were happy, frustrating, infuriating, and sad.I couldn’t NOT experience an influx of emotions as Willow battled her new reality and The Cursed kept me up until the early hours of the morning since I could not put it down. I fell in love with Grey from the start in The Coven and sure I may be questioning my judgement here but I fell even harder here. His shift in character was so fascinating I couldn’t help but root for him despite all of his deceitful ways.As far as the spice I would say 4.5/5 🌶️ what is written is SPICY but it isn’t the sole focus of the book as it is well balanced with the plot which I loved!Minor Potential Spoilers ⚠️Now I did rate this 5 ⭐️ because of the emotions The Cursed imbued me with. However, there were a few details that kept nagging at me as I read. 1. Willow is all powerful yes, but there’s no reason for her to not continue attending classes - she really didn’t do anything that would prohibit her. 2. SOOO much was happening right at the end of the book so while I’m glad the series is continuing on it does feel like Willow & Grey should make a return at some point as the main characters given the direction of the story. I have full faith in the author to pull it off though so I’m excited to see what’s next!

The end. Sort of.
This book has a lot going for it. We finally see Grey and Willow face off without the weight of their secrets holding them back. We see love find its way through the thorns. We see friendships strengthen and friendships wither.I loved watching Willow and Grey find their way back to each other despite everything they went through in book one. I loved how hard Willow fought to find the balance between her relationship and her obligations to the coven.I even loved the betrayals, because of the ways they helped our characters grow. Now, I’ll try to elaborate on why this is a four star instead of a five without revealing too much. Grey and Willow’s story isn’t finished. It’s just not. And what conclusion we were given felt… not rushed, but almost incomplete. Part of that is because of a role to be played by the future maiden (of the maiden, mother, crone variety). Part of that is because of what comes next within this universe (spin-off series, here we come). So while yes, this book found a stopping point that left me satisfied enough, there feels like there’s still so much of the story left to be told, including one hell (heh.) of a battle, that this felt less like a “the end” and more like a “that’s all for now.”Still, I love this book. I love strong, clever, eternally-pushed-past-her-limits Willow. I love literal Satan Grey who loves harder to make up for Willow’s resistance. I loved the spice in this. I love the enemies to lovers to enemies to lovers roller coaster we were thrown on. I’ve already recommended it to so many of my friends. Harper L Woods is a quick buy for me and she always will be.
