Used for a kids' Jackson Pollack project and everyone was very pleased with them. They are gessoed and ready to use. A few had small water looking marks of the front, but for most painting purposes that doesn't matter.

These are great quality canvas boards. They aren't too course & all the different types of paint (water color & acrylic) have had excellent results. I have also done some sharpie & paint marker projects on them & was surprised they both work great on this canvas panel too. The panels are somewhere around 1/4 inch thick & are pretty firm & do not bend easily. These are the perfect canvas panels for anything from a child's painting party to paintings you would want to hang in your home. I am currently painting some pop art for a room in my house & these have been perfect for the project. The price point is great & so is the quality. I will definitely be buying these again.

I love the number of panels you get for the price. They are thin but are heavier than I thought. The reason why I removed a star is that there is a terrible odor that comes with these canvases. But on the flip side, each one is individually wrapped so when you open the package, the strong aroma will not attack you. If you leave the canvas out for a while, the smell will fade and disappear.Overall, excellent product and may buy again if I ever run out of them.

So far so good. I am taking this onsite to a plein air conference in a dry climate and planning on using acrylics, so I added another layer of gesso primer. I was concerned with the humidity curling/warping the canvases on return to the midwest, so I left them in my garage during a huge change in humidity and temperature to see if there were any issues. Very little warping occurred. I won't be painting on these until April, but so far, I am happy with my trial on warping. One layer of additional primer has smoothed these out perfectly. I do not sand canvases as I am afraid it would damage the fibers of the canvas. (I do know a lot of artists do this, this is just my personal take on it.)
