I’ve been using the Travelpro Pathways 3 Hardside Expandable Luggage, and it’s been a fantastic travel companion. It’s lightweight and durable, which makes it easy to handle, even during hectic trips. One of my favorite features is the zippered compartments on both sides—they make packing so much easier and are perfect for separating clean and dirty clothes.The spinner wheels glide smoothly on hard floors, making it a breeze to maneuver through airports and train stations. However, the wheels can struggle a bit on carpeted floors. It’s the perfect size for carry-on use and fits easily into overhead bins without any issues. The expandable feature is great—it gives you that little bit of extra space when you need it.The bag is well-built and holds up well to both international and domestic travel. A couple of minor areas for improvement include the lack of exterior pockets, which could be helpful for quick-access items, and the interior pockets can feel a bit tight when the bag is fully packed. Even so, these are small trade-offs for such a functional and reliable piece of luggage.Overall, this bag is stylish, functional, and built to last. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality carry-on for frequent travel.

I wanted to love this luggage. It’s light and it looks good but it does not have a side handle. Returning for this reason.

Very light and sturdy. Could pack more clothes and items than I expected. May purchase a larger size for checked luggage.

Currently have the 21” softside. Got my daughter the new hardside expandable 21”. Similar with improved durability. The expansion seems to be at least 2” bigger and there are compartments on both sides of suitcase. Nice improvements.

I love this luggage, but my checked bag ended up with zippers broken on one side after using it on a 2nd trip. I took the luggage to Europe in May 2024 then just came back from a UK trip this month, Oct. 2024. On the 3rd day of the trip, one zipper on one side came off, then the 2nd zipper slipped off & I had to safety pin the side together. The bag WAS NOT over loaded, as it weighed in between 36-38 lbs at check in.

I did not give it 5 stars due to the handle. My other travel pro has handles all over, on the top, side and bottom. This suitcase only has one handle on the top and if you have a hand bigger than a small you will have a hard time getting your hand around the handle. I am a female with a small hand so it was fine for me but the larger males in my family had a hard time grabbing it. Other than that it is lightweight and sturdy and survived a trip across the US.

Unlike so many competitive products in the marketplace, this one does not have a handle on either side edge of the bag. Most have a handle on the side where the lock is. Without that handle, it is difficult to pick up, and to maneuver into those akward airplane overheads. If you want a Travelpro, do like I did and buy the Travelpro Maxlite Air Hardside Expandable Carry-On instead. Same price, same quality. But it has a handle, and it's lighter (important when hoisting it above your head into an overhead bin).

This is a nice case but it lacks a side handle for lifting and the bottom slot for lifting is too shallow to be much use. The rolling handle is not stable and wobbles.
