Beautiful casting, detailed. Have purchased this type and the one that shows both sides. Also the small Crucifix. All are well made.

Heavy, beautifully crafted, and the bronze color is deep and rich. Design is well defined. Well worth the money. Perfect size for above a door.

St Benedict is the patron saint of protection from those who want to harm you. He survived 2-3 poisoning attempts, because people grew tired of his devotion to prayer and work. I had this blessed and nailed on my front door. I am a catholic and feel safe in and out of my house. Also this is much larger than I thought, which makes it even more prominent on my door (though hidden from the outside by my screen door. Say what you will, but the 1st time I missed the Blessing of St Blaze at school, I got strep throat. "belief in things not seen". I don't think hallucinations are what that means. LOL
