KitchenAid KHB1231CL 2-Speed Hand Blender, 8", Crystal Blue

Beautiful berry color like my KitchenAid food processor, large stand mixer, manual hand mixer, & frother! 💖 UPDATE: The rubber band that covers & protects the on/off button has already torn. Poor quality. I tried contacting the company following the Amazon prompts, but the product isn't even listed on their website. 2nd UPDATE: I was finally able to get in touch with the folks at Kitchenaid. Unfortunatey they no longer make the pink, but they said they are sending out a brand new replacement unit, which is much appreciated. I will update again once I receive the new blender.

Shipping and delivery was by FedEx and amazingly fast! Packaging arrived in perfect condition. I ordered the cranberry immersion blender. Had one from years ago that got damaged in a move. Tried so many others and even the new versions of KitchenAid and they are not like this one. They don't make things like they used to. This older version is just the best in my eyes. The new versions have so much suction that you can't even move or go up and down with the hand blender but this older version you can really work what your trying to blend to perfection without the strain and struggle. I actually purchased two and both arrived outstandingly. Seller is tried tested and true!!

This blender is far better than the plastic one I had before. The stainless steel blender attachment lets you puree hot liquids, which is nice for making thick soups. The variable speed is easy to set, as well, so as to minimized splatter. Very quiet and easy to use/clean. My only complaint is that the cup that comes with it is rather delicate. We had it sitting in the drying rack on our counter when it fell and cracked. Thankfully, it's still usable as the crack is high up but I wouldn't expect a plastic cup to not survive a 3 ft fall. All in all though this is a great blender at a great price and I'm looking into adding other options from this line to my kitchen (whisk/beater attachment & food processor).

I have a thing for KitchenAid appliances. I have put off buying an immersion blender because it's definitely a convenience item, not a need, and I have downsized to a smaller home with a smaller kitchen and less storage. But then I saw I could get it in pink to match my standmixer and my finger clicked 'add to cart' before I really thought about it. Impulse buy! But I've surprised myself with how much I'm using it. If you're on the line about it, take the jump. It's quite handy.

it was a gift and the color is pretty much a nice pink color so the picture and the name is a little deceiving... the recipient that got this actually got two hand blenders and decided to return the other one in favor of this one for its color. other then the color i haven't seen her use it and i don't have any experience with hand mixers so all i'm commenting on and rating it on is the color.
