What a great gift for the teenager in the house or the runner in the house. This beanie keeps your head warm while playing your favorite tunes. I was worried that I would find it uncomfortable but that was not the case.

Don't be fooled, the only reason I had to get a second one was because my kid decided they needed this more than me. It's perfect!

It is the time of year when cold weather is on the way. I walk (quite a bit) each day and like to listen to audio books or sometimes music while walking. I was initially attracted to this hat because it looked genuinely warm and I hate to be cold.The hat's material was nice and, while the weather hasn't gotten past medium cool yet, it seems to be both comfortable and warm. Operation is pretty simple, it took me a couple of tries to get the hang of finding the right button while wearing the hat but, with the simple UI, it is pretty easy. The unit does have a synthesized voice to announce major things (on, off, paired) and that is helpful since one can't see the indicator LED while wearing the hat.The documentation was just a little confusing about short and long presses but a minute's experimentation got me past that (long presses do volume and short do skipping forward and backward)I would say the audio quality is not quite as good as higher quality ear buds but it is pretty close and is as good as I'd expect for an outside the ear solution. I briefly considered 4 stars because of this but, while walking, I realized that outside the ear was a feature and not a bug since it is good to be able to hear a little of what is going on around you when walking or doing other outside activities (so back to 5!)After wearing on a long walk I was especially happy with how comfortable the hat was after some time. I've tried other products where the electronics was not as well padded by the knit and it started to seem uncomfortable after a while. I had no trouble with this hat since the electronics is nicely surrounded by a knit band. (It can be removed for washing)

The hat is nice and comfortable, I am on the small side for hat sizes. It appears to be well made and came with informative instruction, a plus. The sound quality is better than I expected, I listen to the calm app frequently at night and wear a head band with similar technology and controls. This beanie was superb over my headband sound quality, I sleep with. I have listened to a track with piano and rain sounds in the back ground. You could actually hear the rain well with this beanie. Audio books sound was good.The nice thing about this beanie is that you can have good sound but still be aware of what is going around you, as often when I am outside, I have to remove an ear bud to adequately hear a conversation.Th one issue I have is with the control panel, it is pretty stiff and it seems like the unit inside moves and does not respond as well as my headband with same technology does. I would purchase this beanie again and I think it would make a good gift for someone that does not have to have the top apple ibuds or Bose quality sounding while running, hiking or walking

The hat is cute enough, but it's not really functional. I charged it and couldn't get my phone to find it to pair, left it alone for a while, charged it again (because the battery did drop, though I'm not sure from what), and tried again, but no luck. Maybe it'll work with android, but with bluetooth it shouldn't matter. I figured okay, it's a hat, but I wore it for a walk (no sound) on a crisp, sunny day (mid-upper 40's F) and my ears were frozen! I would've been better off with my hair down and no hat.TLDR, it didn't work for listening to anything and didn't even keep my ears warm on a not-so-cold day.

If you are expecting this cap to replace your Airpods in terms of sound quality then you will be disappointed. The sound quality from this is decent but no where near as good as most dedicated headphones. What these do provide is a great way to listen to music or take phone calls without fear of losing your precious and pricey Airpods. I use this when walking my Dog or exercising and works fairly well. The microphone is not the best so if you take calls on this the person on the other end will hear some static and you will sound distant. Considering the price, this is more than forgivable.
