Not liquid rubber. Like water with little specks of rubber. Got tired of the Hassel of trying to return things and tossed it.

We bought an old house last year with some leaks on an EPDM roof around a gutter and downspout. I cleaned the surface and smeared this stuff all over. The next time it rained everything appeared to be flowing through the gutter and downspout as it should. After going back and inspecting, everything setup nice and feels like it is adhering pretty well. I've had time to do a little more research since then and if I had this problem again I would probably just grab a tub of silicone caulk instead. A tube of caulk is easy to find at a local big box, I already have a caulking gun, and that stuff is super easy to apply. This stuff required gloves and a brush. It was just a messier, more involved process and I don't think it will last as long as silicone. But it did work, so I can't knock it too much.

This is not what I expected at all. This product has a gritty grainy texture that's impossible to spread. It's like trying to paint with wet mud that's drying and crumbling faster than you can work. Even if I place my finger in this strange liquid, it dries instantly to a crumbling mess. I have no idea what this is and it's certainly not a liquid rubber coating.

At first I thought they sent the wrong size, but now it looks like it's just deceptive titling (there are no size options, so that can't be used as an excuse). I guess that means you have to divide everything by 4, but that leaves me still confused. The title could be changed to "this can covers 1.5-4 sq ft", but then in according to the description's coverage guidelines it would be about 9 sq ft for vertical surfaces and about 6 sq ft for flat/ponding surfaces... so I'm still confused. I guess it doesn't matter because it's not available at the moment...

We used this sealant to repair a fiberglass fountain. It worked great and was able to seal cracks in the fountain to make it usable again. Happy with the results.

I wanted to try and use this liquid rubber sealer on a fence post first, to see how it worked. I also had some stinging insects making nests it the cracks so this was to help prevent them from making a home. I put the BEEST Liquid Rubber Waterproof Sealant to task. Here are my thoughts... This is a thick and gritty sealant. It didn't go on very smoothly with a brush. A roller might have worked better? But it tended to clump up when brushing. Meanwhile, the stir stick, which was dipped, coated very nicely. So application methods surely make a difference. Once applied, this stuff was pretty much completely dry and had sealed very well. I was back around 24 hours later. The can says up to 48 hours. But it was a nice coating of sealant the next day for me. The color is black and doesn't really change after application. I noticed very little odor. The only real item to note is that it is gritty looking and feeling. It looks like once dried as well. Giving some grip to a covered surface as well. On a concrete or brick setting this should work pretty well for sealing it up.

Unfortunately I can't yet report the effectiveness of this sealant but it sounds promising. I own a rental house awaiting for the current tenant to vacate in a month from now. The house is quite old and it has a basement wall that has a drastic crack that allows water to seep through it when it rains hard. Currently the basement is so full of stuff it is barely accessible where the wall needs attention. My plan is to use a special concrete I've purchased to fill in the crack then apply several coats of this sealant over the concrete when it sets. From the reading I've done about fixing leaking basement walls from the inside this is not regarded as a favorable way to do it but a friend who is a fixit man tells me he's patched basements walls like this successfully so I going to make the attempt. I'll report back here when I know the outcome.

It is rainy season in CA and my son lives in my rental house that appears to need a new roof. We found out the hard way when a leaking patch in the living room started dripping! I decided to try this product to mitigate the leak until the roofer is available to repair and/or replace the roof so my review is mainly for application until we see how it fairs during the rest of the season. The product is thick and we elected to pour it into a paint tray to spread it across the general area where the leak has formed. The product went on easily and seems to create a coat that would divert water entry but I can tell multiple coats are the only way to ensure full protection--especially in my situation where we do not know exactly where the roof leak originates. This product lists "roof maintenance" as a viable use so I cannot ding the product for my inability to source the direct leak. However, my experience with the product has been positive for DIY and I can see multiple uses that I will use this in the future for my gutters moving forward.
