Sebago Men's Classic Dan Loafer Shoes

Great shoes had to send them back was to large with no problem got a smaller size in 2day My son didnt think he would like a loafer but its a classic was in church on Sunday

My husband has worn this shoe for 20 yrs plus ... And he said fit is better than last pair. They are a classic shoe with well known style

I have been a Johnson Murphy purchaser for over thirty years. However when they discontinued the penny loafer I had to find a replacement. This company makes an excellent penny loafer, it is on a par with the old Johnson Murphy.

The regular brown leather feels considerably better than the other colours I've tried (black and the purple/red brown -- cordovan?), which are a bit shiny and stiff. I've worn completely through the sole of one pair (had it resoled with vibram) and am wearing down the other. The only reason these don't get a five is that the insoles have come completely loose (on both my pairs) and at this point have a tendency to slip down into the toe of the shoe over the course of the day. I could even downgrade to a 3 for this, except that the shoe is more or less exactly what I want apart from this defect. This doesn't seem to happen with the black or cordovan coloured pairs.

A few years ago I bought 2 pairs of the Sebago Cayman II Cordo loafers for $56 each through Amazon and they were beautiful, great leather on the outside and fully leather lined on the inside. The even came boxed andin flannel bags ! Unfortunately only few odd sizes of those are still available at $180 or more but sold out otherwise. The only ones now available that look like them, costing $100.00 looked good in the pictures so I bought a pair. Unfortunately they do not look anything like the other ones I had bought before. They are not leather lined on the inside except for a plastic looking piece on the bottom. Even the upper leather now looks and acts like it is plastic or man made. When I tried them on, they slipped in the heel and I had to put insoles in the shoes so they stay on. Once I started walking with them, they started to (and still) squeak!! I should have returned except that I had walked outside with them. So now I have a pair of ill fitting expensive cheap shoes that do not even resemble the beautifully made, quality shoes Sebago used to make.

The pair I ordered fit well. Some reviewers mentioned that it runs small or tight so I ordered a size-E (width) instead of size-D (my normal width size). This is my third pair of Sebago. I started wearing them since I was 12 years old. I had my previous pair for over 18 years and resoled once, (I probably wear it once a month because I have a lot of shoes). I like the Sebago look, style, and fit, not to mention shinning it. This shoes looks so nice when its shinny!! I also had it shipped to an Amazon Locker -- really useful and convenient if you are worried about your package getting stolen.

I tried two different sizes of this shoe (99.9% of my shoes are the same size), and couldn't make it work. 10 D was way too narrow on one foot, and 10 E was too big and the heels kept slipping. They do look good and feel like they'd be comfortable, however. I wanted this to work. I would urge you to try them as they seem well constructed and comfy, but I'm just unsure why they are so different than all my other slip on shoes in terms of sizing?

Call me an easy target if you must, but I have only ever bought Sebago shoes in years and years. Why? Because they're quite stylish, very well made and comfortable for a tall man with wide feet. I wear them for business, yachting, walking, visits to the pub. What more can I say? Oh yes, the important bit! They're very good value for money. No, I'm not getting paid for this, nor have I ever met anyone from Sebago! So get well shod! Patrick D.

Ho acquistato questi mocassini dopo essermi documentato sul marchio, di assoluto rispetto e con una solida storia e reputazione alle spalle. Questa scarpa rappresenta tutte le caratteristiche del mocassino classico, cucito a mano e con dettagli di pregio. Le recensioni che ho letto mi avevano lasciato qualche dubbio sulla calzata. Ho deciso di acquistarle allettato dallo sconto del 50% sul presso di vendita, che mi ha fatto risparmiare più del doppio rispetto all’acquisto in negozio. La scarpa calza esattamente la misura che sceglierete. All’inizio potrete fare un poco di fatica ad entrare il piede perché la pelle dovrà cedere e la suola ammorbidirsi, ma una volta indossate non avrete nessun fastidio. Comode, avvolgenti e belle esteticamente. A mio modo di vedere sono la scarpa ideale e classica, con elementi di artigianalità, sempre più rari nei prodotti di oggi. Sono pienamente soddisfatto del mio acquisto. Brava Amazon, servizio eccellente ed uno sconto imperdibile!

Superbe mocassin Sebago classic Dan, made in Mexico. C'est du robuste, du cuir bien épais et du fait main. + le prix Amazon (gain important par rapport à l'achat en boutique Sebago ou Mainfield) + la rapidité de la livraison Prime... Que du bonheur. Par contre pour la taille, prendre comme pour vos Dockside!!! Je fais du 43 / 9.5 US d'ordinnaire et là j'ai pris du 44 / 10 US. Et pour l'instant, pas possible de les enfiler sans chausse-pieds (cuir épais et pas assez portés...). Mais une fois dedans.... des chaussons!!!

Ein super Schuh in gutem Leder und bester Verarbeitung. Leider fällt der Schuh etwas klein aus. Man sollte ihn mindestens eine halbe, wenn nicht sogar ganze Nummer größer wählen.
