I will start to study Chinese more The book is very well done Exercises are very useful to get deep in the language and the audio files are very useful to practice the listening. It’s a book that can be chosen even for autodidact. Pages are thick and at the touch seems reconciled paper very good for writing with a pencil. Delivery was ok

My tutor uses this book so it is very helpful to have one of my own at home. Easy to understand. HSK 2 still has pinyin and English explanations as well as Chinese characters.

Good, but not for self-study
This is the second volume in the standard course for China's official HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi - Chinese Proficiency Tests). Included with the book is a CD to help with pronunciation, listening and understanding - absolutely essential. It is mostly clear and quite thorough. I have found it useful for study with a teacher, but I would not recommend it for self-study, as Chinese idioms are complicated, and not everything is (or probably can be) explained in print here.
