Great for casual home use
Like any kind of yard equipment, if you'll be using it constantly, get gas powered and take care of it. I only have one set of bushes and just the edge of my yard to keep up with. Does amazing for what it is, and extends out more than I can comfortably hold it for long periods of time. Because it's just an extension for a normal hedge trimmer, the electric motor is still housed near the top. Makes it heavy at the end, but I don't need it extended out for too long.

Good trimmer
This hedge trimmer is really sharp and does an excellent job. I have cut through some branches that are close to 1/4 inch thick. The only complaint I have is that it is pretty heavy. I tire quickly using it. Of course Iโm 72 years old and not as strong as I was in my younger years. However, I do recommend this trimmer for itโs power and sharpness.

Itโs a bit heavy but great for trimming tall bushes small tree limbs

A nice, well made AC electric trimmer
I prefer corded over battery any day Get urself a 75 or 100 foot extension cord and you can tackle most pruning the 4.8 amp motor is a plus Do not try to cut branches more that 1/2 to 2/3 inches thick. You will wind up clogging the cutter blades and place undo straps on the motor Itโs a really good light to moderate duty trimmer!

Didn't have electric cable to plug in
I must say it looks the part except, with no electric cable or plug it's totally useless and looks great in the cardboard box.

Top heavy
When extended to reach 8 ft & the cutting blade is set at 90 degree to cut , pole is very heavy, with top head weight of cutter

Should have purchased years before
I have been using a gas powered extended hedge trimmer but its heavy and can cut out at odd angles. I'm a regular in the gym pushing weights around so I'm used to heavy . But this electric trimmer was so light and extended further than my gas one I was kicking myself for not switching sooner. Plenty of power for big hollies
