Good quality and comfortable.
I have tried searched for and tried several different brands and types of shorts for yoga, Pilates, and other classes at my local gym. So far, only two brands and types have been good enough for me to make a second order. For yoga, my favorite type is made by 4-rth because I prefer their elastic cuffed design that comes down below the knee -- and I have four pair. These YogaAddict shorts are every bit as nice as the 4-rth shorts, but they stop at or above my knee and are designed to be more open at the bottom. Both are very good quality. If you prefer something that does not have an elastic cuff then I can recommend these. If you want something that stays completely in place without binding, consider the slightly more expensive 4-rth shorts.Note: a small concern with these is that the openings for the drawstrings do not have eyelets. I have been keeping an eye out to see if the holes enlarge or tear out, but 4 to 8 months later and so far so good.

So close to perfect, but...
The good: fit perfectly, snug enough to stay out of the way, stay around your legs when inverted, and stretchy enough that you don't have to constantly adjust. The not quite as great: the material is thick and really, really hot. Wish the pants were a bit cooler, temperature-wise. I think they'll be fine on cooler days, but if it's hot? The temperature is a bit uncomfortable.And... hate the ugly brown, had few choices in Large, so I took the least offensive. Not a good color, but whatever, it's what I ordered. Please add color options in the large size! But aside from the color and the pants being too warm, they really are excellent.

Not just for yoga...well, yes they are just for yoga
My first yoga pants, and they're perfect. Bought a second pair as soon as I found out how well the first pair fit and how comfortable they were. And they're great wear-anytime casual shorts as well.Update: I take it back, these are NOT great wear-anytime shorts. I have discovered that the pockets are useless--too shallow, poorly shaped. I have so far lost 1/my wallet, 2/my Smartphone and 3/my car keys, all of which simply dropped out of the pockets. (Fortunately, somebody saw me lose them in each case, and I recovered them quickly.) I'm downgrading my review from five stars to three; after all Yoga Addict doesn't claim that these are "everyday shorts," and they do work fine for yoga.

Sweat Pants
Picture sweat-pants turned into shorts. Kay, that's it. The exercise is over. Except you just payed 40 bucks for them, sucker! I do hot yoga where I literally wear a swim suit to class, and I would not set foot in there with these. I also can't wear them biking, or outdoors, or anywhere at all because I don't wear sweat pants in public and that's what these are. In an unheated room, or outdoors, or the gym, they would do the trick. But again, if that's what you want, go pick up some sweat pants from anywhere at all, cut off the legs (or don't) do yoga in those instead of these, and BUY SOMETHING ELSE WITH THAT $40!

Great for extreme workouts and just chilling
This is the 3rd pair I bought.I wear them doing P90X, Strength Training, and just to lounge around the house. My wife says they are what she pictures me wearing when she pictures me in my "ellement".I wear them with compression shorts and sometimes with nothing at all.Zero complaints. Well done YogaAddict!p.s. about time someone made cool yoga clothes for men.p.p.s. I thin YogaAddict needs to also make underwear that are this comfortable.

Nice, but not breathable
I got these for doing yoga. I'm 5'9" and 130 pounds, and a small fits me pretty well. The shorts have a good length, hitting just above the knee, and they are comfortable. They are elasticized around the hips, so they really cling to you. This is good for keeping the shorts in place while letting them stretch to accommodate your most ambitious poses. But the whole reason I bought shorts was to be less hot while doing yoga, and these simply don't have enough ventilation. They end up pretty much sweat-soaked by the end of class. I sweat more than the average person, so others may not have as much of a problem as I do. I ended up switching to some rock-climbing knickers made by Ucraft, and those have been much more comfortable for me.

Great for martial arts and yoga.
I wanted an pair of yoga pants that could be used for stretching and martial arts. Problem is a lot of companies that make pants are too long for my frame (5’4” 128 lbs). These shorts were great for yoga and muy Thai. I don’t like traditional mma shorts as they require compression garments which can get expensive over time. These I can were with anything and my junk isn’t flying all over the place. Material is medium thick and doesn’t collect lint (a huge plus). The shorts end right above the large bulb of my calf muscle which is nice to show off. Will buy several other pairs. If they offered a hemming service for inseams I would definitely buy their pants too.

Comfortable
I am 185 lbs, size 34" waist Levis and the Large fits me nicely. They are stretchy, comfortable and form fitted. They will show off your butt and package. The Graphite fabric doesn't have any color variation and shadow lines formed will make your package visible (D print). The dark grey has enough variation to make the shadows less visible and the black hides them even more. They are straight legged, if you have larger thighs, they will be form fitted but not tight and still be looser at the knee.

shame they wont last...
I was initially apprehensive because of the 5 star reviews from free product trials, I had also looked at amazon.com to see more negative reviews of the product but felt that I would be willing to have a go as my current yoga shorts were ready for the recycling bin and there were some very positive non free product influenced reviews.I have owned the shorts for around a month and they have had around 6 hours practice per week and 4 cycles in the wash. They are exceptionally comfortable and concur with the other reviews about how they support tree pose which was a big plus. They dry very quickly also. The reason for the three stars is however the build quality and wear that they have taken in a short period. there are random threads coming out of various seams, which while dont appear to have had impact on the functionality of the garment is of concern as eventually it will, the biggest issue is the bobbling of the inner thigh aspect and wear at the crotch, I would not expect these to last the year with my current usage which is a shame as they tick all the boxes for me.

Far too long in the waist
Overall a good product for yoga, but even though I'm long and skinny I found these far too long from the crotch to the waist. If I pull them right up they come half-way up my chest. I have to turn the waist band down for a reasonable fit. The disadvantage of this is that the seam up the back is uncomfortable when lying on your back. They could do with being at least 50-60 cms shorter. The very short ones are a far better fit. I haven't and probably won't try the long variety.

Evident quality
I don't normally pay attention to clothes, but I was immediately struck by the quality of these shorts and how cleverly they were designed. I'm really impressed with them and wear them as often as possible. They are cut very artfully and have interesting textures to the various panels that make them up. The shorts came with a message from the manufacturers which was warm and personal, confirming the impression that these have been lovingly designed by enthusiasts rather than yet another bog-standard short. I'm planning to get more.

Perfect and high quality exercise/dance/lounging around shorts
Shopping for workout and dance clothing recently, I did what I never have done in the past and browsed Amazon (for clothing!?). There were many options available but very few had the kind of review consistency that would encourage me to risk a purchase. These YogaAddict shorts are risk free, a little pricier perhaps than the riskier options - but compared to high street bought shorts of this quality they are fantastic; extremely comfortable and lightweight. I find myself wearing them for hours before or after exercising (and I'm sure in future, at times when I have no intention of doing any exercise but just want to relax in a comfy pair of shorts). As a tall person (I'm 6ft 6), I hate wearing shorts usually because of the ridiculous sight of my legs. My legs are still ridiculous but the length of these shorts means that they come down just over my knees and I manage to retain a sense of dignity because of that, which is always appreciated! The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is due to the lack of Large size availability at the time of ordering. The XL are great but I feel the L size would have been completely perfect for me (34" waist, slim build). The retailer - who sent a nice follow-up email to my purchase - has informed me there will be large availability in Feb, so if you are considering that size that might be worth considering, although the XL are still great and don't balloon around me as some larger sizes would. Also worth bearing in mind that the current discount may not be available then. Get 'em while they're hot :)Thank you YogaAddict!

Very comfortable.
I love these...they are comfortable and stretchy, and a quality product. ...and they look good Too! I use them for yoga and in the gym. Highly recommended.Update.21.9.19...I have purchased two pairs now ...both pairs have started to form little holes along the back seam ...I was in contact with the seller about the first pair and they gave me a discount...they said they were not responsible for wear and tear. The second pair have gone the same way..so I shall be stitching both pairs...definitely a manufacturers fault here.
