Still holding after three years
After almost four years of weekly use the bells show no wear or rust. Great to have when hiking with dogs - helps you and others to be aware of where the dogs are.

Good Sound, still came off
UPDATE: My dog managed to rip the bell off the strap while exploring off-trail, but the strap stayed on his collar lol. I'm trying a cow bell style next.I ordered this bell after my dog lost a velcro one on a hike. As stated in the description, the strap is riveted closed, so it'll take a lot for the strap to come off his collar. It fits nicely on a 1" collar, and you can use a carabiner to attach it to a harness or your pack. It sounds nice, and can be heard for a good distance in the open (I estimate 30 yards, but I'm terrible with long distances). We don't have bears where we generally hike, but this did warn a coyote on our first hike with this, who was able to get a solid head start before we came around the corner.

Great Sturdy Bells
I was looking for something to put on my very large Lab/Mastiff X Service Dog. He is very soft footed and as my wheel chair is electric it is almost silent. These bells are perfect to let people know we are coming in busy stores or other crowded places. They are perfect in the woods with all the skunks, raccoon's and other beasts of the wild. They sound loud enough to give them time to leave and for us to know where he is, if he is off leash. I can imagine with all the fires blazing here in California it is useful for warning the disoriented animals of the forest as they try to find food and water. They are on the move. I have used them on a backpack and my Bug-Out bag has a couple for emergencies. The nylon loop is good for the water. It dries pretty fast and nothing to poke the dog if he had a fall. Great all the way around.

Great bell. Let's me always know where my dog is.
Well worth the $5. Love this bell. I have a 60lb. lab mix and it works great for her. I feel that it is loud enough where I know where she is and hopefully let any porcupines, skunks etc. know that she is around and they will run away. At the same time it is not too loud where it is super annoying.I slip it over her collar whenever I head into the woods or we are gonna be somewhere outside where she will be off leash. It really helps me know where she is.- 1.5 inch bell- 5/8 inch loop. This should fit over most collars.- a little bit smaller than a golf ball- no problem with it getting in the way of your dog if they are laying downCheck out my video review and demonstration I posted of the Warner Brass Dog Collar Bell on my YT channel. 1.5" bell perfect for 50lb dog
I needed a bell to keep track of my wandering pup in the woods. this 1.5" bell is the perfect size and loudness for my 50 pound pup. It bothered her a little when hanging on her collar, but she is comfortable with it on her harness. it also makes a more uniform noise on her harness at her shoulder.

Good quality/ fast ship/ durable / clear ring to warn bunnies in suburbia/ WARNING read review for safety concern
Good quality and durable as my dog is rough / clear ring to warn wild animals with no complaints from neighbors/ 2 years of care free use until I discarded it to d/t safety concern. While scratching her head, my dog got her toe nail seriously caught in one of the bell holes leaving her only able to crawl and cry until I removed collar. Extra serious since she previously had knee surgery in the same back leg. I would strongly recommend you explore other bell options. Pup is well now so no worries.
