I saw an add for some toenail trimmers like these for $75, but it was going to take too long to get them, so I checked for something similar on Amazon. These are the best trimmer I have ever used to cut my toenails! They are sharp and the curved handle seems to give more power to cut and they are easier to use than the straight on ones. They cut right through my thick nails with ease!! Thank you.

These clippers are extremely sharp and work great especially when you have mobility issues and problems with the hands. They work great and clip even the toughest nails. Extreme caution should be taken because they are very sharp but a great product.

My kind of product: simple, sturdy, no frills, elegant. Not cheap but no extra charge for brand, trendiness, 'sexiness', packaging (did come with a nice-but plain-metal box just big enough for it to fit) etc. Some other clippers were bundled with picks, alternate jaws or more (?). Just the file was good enough for me. After using, a narrower, thinner jaw might be more 'all purpose' (to fit under nails curved way under, get side areas where the skin is growing around the nail) and even more angled might be easier to use. I was worried a greater angle might sacrifice power/control so went with these. P.S. on the day I ordered they were listed at $ 14.20 w/ $2 coupon, today they are listed at $ 9.99 w/$ 0.50 coupon, just saying.

I don't often write reviews but felt compelled to write one for this product. I wish I'd known about these ten years ago (if they existed). Due to two hip replacements-one that doesn't have a lot of range and motion-, age (75), a bit of a spare tire, and hard and somewhat thick nails, I could not trim my toenails with normal clippers and couldn't always make it to my nail salon (sometimes for a few months). I'd tried scissors, but if I missed, I'd nick the next toe, and in any case, they did not work well at all. While it is still difficult for me to bend over to get to one foot, it all goes so fast due to the wide jaws and sharpness that I don't mind a little discomfort at all. What an incredible relief knowing that I won't ever have to worry about when I can get to my nail salon ever again. I'd recommend these clippers to 'the formerly young' in a New York minute.

My toenails are thick, to say the least. I suppose that this is age and perhaps a result of past toenail fungus. The everyday clippers that one typically finds in stores simply do not have wide enough "jaws" to fit over the nails. These clippers solved that problem. In addition, the clippers provide sufficient leverage to actually trim the nails. The things are also easy to grasp.

The angle of the handle and the sharpness of the blades make these a pleasure to use. Make sure you are just cutting nail......these are wicked sharp. But the best I have ever used. Wish I'd known about these sooner. Make sure you get a pair of these........quality is excellent. Not one thing I don't like about these.

They cost 'far' too much for what they are. But they are humongously sharp and do the job on my thick old yellow toenails without any of the whining and moaning that use to come from my ex when I use to make her do them with her teeth..

Guter Nagelknipser. Die Aufbewahrungsbox sollte einige Millimeter größer sein, damit der Nagelknipser in entspanntem, also federentlastendem Zustand eingelegt werden kann. Ein Aufbewahren in der Box ist nur mit gespannter Feder möglich, was zu vorzeitiger Ermüdung der Feder führen wird.
