Great for deep boxes
These are good when you have deep boxes or where you have multiple wires and need more space. They are good quality and match the Nexus range of electrical sockets and switches.

Screws with nice flat head.
I bought some nice light switches with screwless covers that come without screws (from a well known high street hardware supplier. Sadly the old screws had domed heads which stopped the covers going on flat, so bought those. Perfect. They work and have a good flat head that didn't stop the cover from going flat to the switch.

A handy to have length of electrical accessory fixing screw
This was an important addition to my electrical toolbox, as sometimes the wallboxes for sockets and the like are buried deep enough so that the standard supplied screws don't reach. I do have some 50mm screws, but these can sometimes be far too long to tighten up. This handy 36mm 'in-between' size is just right to cover such situations. I will be buying more, I am sure!

Work well, especially for Lightwave sockets and switches
I bought these for some Lightwave switched and sockets I was installing. As the back boxes I have are not deep enough I had to use the spacers which gave an extra 8mm clearance. Standard screws were not long enough so I bought these and they are just right. As they have flat heads they allow the faceplate to attach flush to the main part.

Not the same as supplied by BG
I don't know if these are actually made by BG or not. All I can say is that they look different from the ones included with the actual BG outlets and switch plates that I've bought over the years. (all BG Nexus brushed steel) The photo here isn't brilliant, but you can see that the BG screw on the left has a very thin and flat head. The one on the right is the one supplied here - it's got a head that's almost twice as thick, and sticks out further. The finish on the flat outer surface is also different - it's not as smooth. This may seem like a fussy detail. After all, these screws work just as well as the originals. But if you want something that looks precisely like the original product, this isn't it.
