What does the lid screw into? There is nothing under it to attach it to.

The lid just sits on top. Not really that useful when using indoors but if you used this outside it would keep out the bees (who will find the honey) or other flying bugs out.

The lid doesn't actually attach - it just lays on top and just keeps bugs out and honey in. The screws must go to another part, so make sure you have it together correctly!
