THESE ARE REVERSE PLIERS!!! Just in case anyone is confused, as apparently some people are.When you squeeze the handle, they open up, instead of closing.This makes them perfect for snap rings...which is why I bought them, and they worked perfectly!If you price micro snap ring pliers, you'll find they are more expensive this pair of pliers, and they are crap for the most part.With these, you get a pair for the garage, and another for the basement. Win/win.In all fairness, it did take 5 seconds with a file to even out the tips, but I survived, and all is well!

this is annoying. these open opposite what you may be used to. when you squeeze handles together...they open. it doesnt look like that in pics and it didnt say that in the description. hopefully it will. i returned them.

Did not close properly

The description was not clear. These pliers open when you squeeze the handles and because I have limitations with my hands, these will definitely not work for making chainmail. I would like a refund please.

These work great and work the way they are supposed to and are correctly described in the listing., Totally ignore the reviews from people who failed to properly read the description and are complaining.These are very useful if you are working on a necklace for instance and want to hold one end in the pliers. I put the pliers in a notch i have on my work area and can then use both hands to attach other things. .

Pliers work in opposite direction of what is normal. Sent them back.

broke in a week

These do not close unless you push them together, and you must hold them tightly to keep them closed.
