There’s no padding in the area where your baby’s body would be. The padding would only be around your baby. I ordered this thinking it would be like a bed/lounger for the living room for playtime or supervised naps but unfortunately it doesn’t have the padding where my baby would actually lay so I will be returning. Update: I decided since I purchased this I would just go ahead and see how my baby likes it before returning and my baby just loves it he looks so comfy and is napping so peacefully with it just hugging his body. Updated from 2 stars to 4 stars.

Does the cover actually come off the mattress? Otherwise, I like the product.

My daughter used this every night it was wonderful great quality and durable she didn't get hot at all
