Minecraft Chess Set

This chess set is fantastic and definitely deserves 5 stars! I bought it for my 13-year-old son who is a huge fan of both chess and Minecraft, and it was a huge hit. The pieces are well-made and the detail in the Minecraft character sculpts is excellent. They are easy to distinguish on the board, making the game playable, not just a display piece. The size of the pieces is substantial, which is great for handling. The overall quality is very good. It looks durable and feels like it will hold up well to regular play. This set is a brilliant way to encourage younger fans (especially teens) to play chess—it adds a fun, familiar element to a classic game. This a good product. High quality, the pieces are made of plastic for anyone that is wondering. But it has a very good level of detail and the plastic is very nice and high quality. Will last a life time with proper handling.

Really cute chess set, well made and durable. Grandson loved it

We first saw this set at the Minecraft experience in London for £60 (=$79). So I told my daughter I’ll just order it online, this way it’s cheaper and we don’t have to pack it in our luggage. I was worried about the price and quality. But surprisingly, it’s actually really nice. I was worried the board would be hard cardboard, but it’s all hard plastic. The board is large and the figures look well-made. My girls are having a great time playing with it right now. Totally worth it for any Minecraft/chess fan.

Such and awesome idea for Minecraft lovers. My son loves chess and Minecraft so this was a no brainer. We love playing on this set. Adds a whole other element to the game. Must have if you have a kid that likes Minecraft and chess. Makes the game a little funner.
