Travelon Anti-Theft Classic Sling Bag

I recently purchased this bag for a two week trip abroad to Spain. I did a good amount of research and planning before our travel. I wanted to prepare with a bag that wouldn’t be too cumbersome, but also maximize utility for the day. I also wanted a bag that would ease some worry about issues with pickpockets and snatching. I don’t normally carry a bag. I am a big guy and my pockets are usually enough. I really appreciate how this bag drapes across the body and how you can easily alternate shoulders if you need. The bag can be worn on the back and quickly rotated around the body to be side or front carried. The external bottle pocket was also a huge plus to easily keeping hydrated. The bag has a deceiving capacity that is super handy if you pick up anything small to medium thing during the day. From experience, it easily held museum guide books, a notepad, a battery charger, papers/cards, sunglasses, and a packable blanket. Alternatively, it will easily hold two 750 ml bottles of wine! All of the advertised security features added peace of mind, but thankfully I did not have to test them. The zippers are nice, felt quality, and were easy to clasp when in “safety mode.” The strap was comfortable and adjustable for all sizes. Some small complaints; the padded area of the strap could be more plush. If the bag got too heavy I found myself shifting it more often to reduce shoulder pressure. Overall, I would highly recommend this bag for your next day trip or urban travels. I felt secure and held all of the key items I needed for a flawless sightseeing adventure.

If you're traveling, this bag is a must! It has so much room on the inside and is very sturdy with safety features to keep your items safe. The straps is adjustable in length and location so you can wear it across your right or left shoulder. It has lots of slots/pockets on the inside to organize and even has a bigger pocket on the outside for quick, but still secure, access so you can keep lip balm or eyedrops handy.

Overall, worked well for my European trip. Appreciated the safety features, price, padded strap, pockets & zip-up water bottle section. Small things I didn't love: kind of unattractive/not stylish, a little large, the RFID pocket isn't zippered, & there's no quick-access pocket in the back. And, I wondered that, with all the safety features, the tabs the sling attached to weren't reinforced.

A great small but not tiny sling bag. Lightweight and frees up your hands to carry other things. Well made and great for travel as well as for everyday use.

This worked great when I traveled abroad. Kept items secure and within reach. It was lightweight easy to adjust and stayed where I put it. It had enough room for most items and was convenient to get to items (I mostly wore it in front as recommended do to possible thieves in the area). The only thing I would change is having a larger water bottle pouch and a few D-rings to attach items to it. It will easily hold a 12 oz bottle, 20 oz would almost fall out if I didn't watch and hold on to it, and that was the absolute limit.

This bag was amazing for European trips. Everything is super secure, it sits nicely on your chest, and you just feel better about using it in pickpocketing places. This particular size fits a ton too, as well as a spot for a water bottle on the side

I really wanted to love this but I find when I swing it around to open it and get stuff out stuff in the top falls out. I am not sure how to resolve the issue. And the little pockets for cards dont hold items tight enough and those also fall out. It just didn't work for me. It was big enough to hold my wallet which I liked.

Well made with Travelon’s thoughtful features, nice sturdy material - so 5 stars! But it didn’t work for me. After adjusting the strap to fit my 1.55m frame, the black strap was dangling passed the slider piece. So perhaps better suited for a taller person if you mind dangles. I went for the Travelon Metro Sling instead which was a better fit.

I bought this bag for our trip to Spain. Really satisfied with this bag. It holds a lot, surprisingly. Both pockets have the lock feature so nobody can get into the bag especially if you decide to have it over your shoulder on your back. The side pocket to hold a water bottle is small but I was able to find a bottle to fit. This bag was a perfect bag to travel with. I had room for two pairs of glasses, my cell phone, and portable charger. It also has an inside zipper pocket to keep passports or money plus the RDIF protection slots for credit cards. The material is great if it rains. Keeps everything inside dry. I had originally bought a canvass bag but returned it because for me, it was too big and I didn't think the material would be good for rain. I would definitely recommend this bag.
