One of axles came broken.
Going to return this since one of the axles is broken and doesn't hold screw in, which makes impossible to secure one of the wheels. This was a gift for my kid, he was waiting for it and now very sad and disappointed. I would suggest to avoid this and go with other brands, such as "ELITTLE N10 Balance Bike" for example.

Solid Balance Bike, Instructions could use some work (but not hard to build)
Overall: The is a solid balance bike. Construction was fairly easy, despite a challenging set of instructions. Wording is a bit awkward and confusing (*specifics below). At $82, price-point is a little high for what you get. Similar comparisons are in the $40-$60 range. Nevertheless, solid metal frame and real rubber tires which will likely last a long time if maintained.Pros: Solid construction, not hard to build; useful for teaching basics of bike balancing before stepping up to a big bike...a very effective concept; Real rubber tires (make sure you have a pump!) and metal constructionCons: Instructions could use a bit of work, price-point a little high for what you get*Instructions: If you take the instructions literally, it will take a long time to build. The pieces fit together logically, however there are a few errors to note.1. The instructions mention a R and L side of the tire. The tires are marked with "Front" so left and right are relative to this direction. The instructions make it sound like the tires are labeled "L" and "R"...they are not. It also does not matter which is the front or back tire.2. The instructions mention "pressing a bearing into the right hub." The bearings were already pressed into the tire hub and at first appeared to be missing from the inventory. Don't let that throw you off.3. The instructions don't mention the plastic pieces in the wheel wells which first need to be removed before the tires can be mounted. They come off easily (similar to the bending/twisting action required to remove model kit pieces from their molds), however there is no mention about this having to be done in the instructions.4. Finally there was an extra piece of "non-skid" stickers included in the box. The instructions make no mention of this and I'm still looking for a place where these would make sense to add. Extra piece, I guess? I'll update the review with the puzzle solution if I find one.

East to assemble, very sturdy and well built bike! - BAD directions!
We received this bike and it was to replace an existing one.Assembly went relatively easy with a few spare parts.Bike itself is actually really good quality paint, and metal, very sturdy and i see no issues with the bike withstanding the normal chaos of a toddler. Seat is comfortable, tires are good quality and real rubber not like other balance bikes like this. Graphics already on the bike are actually really good quality.Kid loves it and is already riding this around the house.Cons:Documentation is horrific. Needs a lot of improvement. If you are decent at assembly of items then this is a breeze for you. However if you are a person who needs to see every nut and bolt where it goes, this is going to challenge you. Additionally there are stickers placed in the box but no directions as to where to put them. So they went where ever they went. Also - the caps for the air stems are missing. Non existent. An easy oversight, but one that should be verified in quality control before sending out. Not that huge of an issue which is why im keeping it at 4 stars, and ill go spend a few bucks to get replacements at the auto store or other box store.

Nice little balance bike
I ordered this for the grandkids. The frame is plastic but it is sturdy. It went together easily. A nice balance bike for the price. My only complaint, the seat can only be adjusted with a tool. A quick release seat adjustment would give it 5 stars

Great Starter Bike to Learn Balance
My littlest one has started taking an interest to biking as he sees his older brothers zipping around. We have a little bike for him with training wheels but I really don't like the idea of him getting use to the training wheels and not developing the balance needed to ride a bike. This happen to my middle son and it took him extra time and a lot of work on his part to get develop the balance needed to ride a bike. A balance bike seemed like a good option to allow my little guy to develop the feeling for balance needed to advance to a pedal bike. The Stompa bike came in a few pieces that required assembly. The parts were well packaged and the instructions were for the most part clear. There was a little confusion with the axial assembly as the parts did not fully match the instructions but just following standard common sense on the assembly made putting the bike together easy enough. The wheels are of a nice quality rubber that needed to be pumped up after assembly. The seat offers a nice long rod allowing for rider height to be adjusted easily and providing plenty of room for a growing little one to enjoy the bike for some time. Handle bars are basic and sturdy with nice grips. Finally the frame is the star of the show here. It is designed and molded to be one solid piece of rigid plastic. It is light but also feels solid and can withstand being dropped without issue. The plus about being one solid piece also means no seams or other bits sticking out that could catch clothing or scratch a child's leg. It is all smooth and well designed to be allow legs to move past without issue. My little one (he is 3) was a little unsure at first when he got on it but was soon moving down the sidewalk with ease pushing along with this feet. It will not be long till he is keeping his legs fully up and just cruising. If you have kids of the age (or height) that fits this bike I highly recommend this as it is well made, easy to put together, and will have your kids zipping all over the place in minutes. I think the only downside to this balance bike is that it might work so good that you would have to get a pedal bike faster than you think!
