Gold cutlery with a beautiful design
The cutlery is absolutely stunning. It has a beautiful rich gold colour. It is classy and elegant. I'd say the wow factor.

The antique finish is not to our taste
As with many things shape and style in cutlery is all down to taste and I am sorry to say that this set of Mikasa “Soho Antique” cutlery did not do it for us.The set of 4x dinner forks, dinner knives , dessert spoons and teaspoons comes nicely packaged and so would make a good gift.We found the knife handles too short-we both have average-sized hands- and the dessert spoons too shallow for us to use comfortably.We also thought that the antique finish to the stainless steel appears a bit odd but I suppose we are just so used to a very modern highly polished appearance in our cutlery.These are certainly different. They are of reasonable quality and the current price seems about right.

Better than expected!
I had low expectations when ordering as I read some bad reviews. But don't let that discourage you! This cutlery is beautiful, this style and material finish is very hard to get at such a low price. It looks expensive.

Unusual design
When I first received these I thought they looked dull but that is how they are supposed to look.They have a silver matt finish which to be honest I am not keen onThe design is nice, they almost have a medieval look to them and they are quite light to hold.The box is nicely presented but when you open it there are only a few on the top card that are secured, the rest are wrapped in tissue loose in the box .They are an unusual design but I would not use these as my everyday cutlery,, the teaspoons seem massive. The description on here is also confusing as the care instructions state hand wash only and then dishwasher safe. It cant be both! The box does state that they are 18/0 stainless steel and dishwasher safe though with no mention of hand wash only so I think it is the decryption on here that must be wrong.It also says that there is a 20 year guarantee.They are nice if you are looking for something unusual.
