George Fenton might just have thought so, because here's an effortlessly predictable score that presses your every emotion button perfectly. It's an exercise in piano whimsy, with a small bouncing ensemble lapping up the opportunity to get very schmaltzy indeed. When you're incorporating "Over The Rainbow" into the body of your score, it's a sure-fire sign there's no need to roll out a booming percussion section. Getting "Butterflies In The Subway" at the start, and thinking "If Only" at the end, this is a gentle piece of floatiness. Being such a romantic writer (check his excellent heart-on-the-sleeve scores for Ever After and Shadowlands), this is right up George Fenton's boulevard. --Paul Tonks

You'Ve Got Mail
Saw this film on tv recently and missed the beginning. My wife was asleep at the time and I thought that she would like this film so I bought it from Amazon and we watched it together over Christmas and we both enjoyed it's gentle humour. A lovely film to watch together over the festive season, no violence, no foul language, just a relaxing evening. Great!

If you love the film buy it!
the only reason I haven't given this top marks is that one track (I guess the lord must be in NY city)is sang by Sinead O'conner (not that she doesn't sing it well), but in the film it's sang by Harry Nilsson and in my view it's a better version and more in keeping to the film as the singer who was used in the film. However, even if your not a fan of the film this is a nice CD to put in the car or just listen to some easy listening.

Fabulous Music to relax to.
Having watched the film so many times, I just had to buy the Soundtrack. The music is just timeless, I have loved the music of Harry Nilsonn since I was young. All the songs included in the Cd are songs that go way back. Old and Young will enjoy the music.

Like Sleepless in Seattle
My favourite movie soundtrack of all time is Sleepless in Seattle, and I bought this one hoping it would be similar. Though obviously different music, it sure reminds me of SIS in that it takes me back to watching the movie when it first came out, it has GREAT songs by the original artists and of course it features Jimmy Durante (that's a bonus). I love this album and it might become my new favourite. If you liked SIS, you will definitely like this.
