This is my Favorite car scanner now; my other one doesn't have touch screen or battery Power. Very nice Kingbloen S500 car scanner. I like the material it's made from it's easy to keep in your hands so you don't drop it. And I like the colors too. I sure like the color touch screen. This is definitely the best professional scan tool OBDII reader that I've ever owned. And I'm just a home mechanic. I've got my cousins wanting me to bring over this scanner to Check their truck. I originally purchased the S500 upgraded to the S800 only to get the upgrade in resets. used initially on a 2020 Nissan Rogue for brake job and a rear caliper replacement with electric parking brake. The scanned retracted the parking brake without issue. Time came to bleed the system and it flat out refused. UNABLE TO PERFORM SUB FUNCTION. WHAT! Had to bleed the system the old fashioned way. Sent an Email out to the manf. Lets see if the fix this or tell me they cant preform this sub function.UPDATE as of this date 28 July 2024 HAVE NOT received any assistance with tech support to address this issue.UP UPDATE. Amazing if you dont believe in resurrection just complain about a product and watch the dead come to life. I had several contacts with the seller on this unit that could have been solved with one. When you have a million dollar unit programed by an idiot you in essence have a million dollar idiot. This unit states it can do many functions on you vehicle. It cant. Yes it is loaded with a variety of generic commands. But what good is that if your vehicle is not equipped for that function. Such as bleeding the ABS on a 2020 Nissan Rogue. So we are lead to believe that this little unit will bring us to an easy victory. No it shouldn't even mention it could do this. Instead it will say UNABLE TO PERFORM SUB FUNCTION. That was Latin for get someone to pump the brake while you open and close the bleeder until all the little bubbles are gone. Don't know what else it can or cant do or what vehicles have or dont have. Could be we became to dependant on the push button age. Needing a little light to tell you have a flat tire. I dont need a little box to tell me I'm listing 15 degrees to port. Point being Know what you vehicle can do or not before looking into buying a new can opener that opens every can and it really really works.
