Excellent Product, Super Cool Gadget
This is the coolest thing I have ever bought on Amazon. The clarity of the night vision is exquisite, and it can see clearly beyond the listed 400m range. The viewfinder can be used with or without glasses (something I was not expecting, seeing as my prescription is -5.5). The resolution of the viewing screen is not excellent, but the binoculars make up for this with quality optics which produce crisp lines on what I would have expected to be a grainy screen. The binoculars come with a preinstalled 8 gb microSD card, which quick napkin math says is capable of storing a literal million pictures (each picture is only a few kilobytes). The included instruction manual is not written in the best English, but as the device only has four buttons it can relatively easily be figured out. With the IR/UV filter cap on, these can also be used in daytime, something I believe makes up for the low resolution. It's really cool they also function as regular binoculars. The buttons require a firm, slightly prolonged press. This is slightly annoying, coming from the 21st century era of touchscreens, but this makes accidental button-presses almost nonexistent, but this and only having 5 buttons makes the device idiotproof.Attached are two photos I took last night. One is of a bench. The other is of a building 1800 feet (~550 m) away. It doesn't show up in the picture, but I was almost able to read the sign on that building. My only complaint is that whenever its powered on, the device defaults to video recording mode. I would prefer photo mode, as I don't see myself using the video mode much if at all.A thing I wish it had: Bluetooth and a corresponding phone app. That would make using a tripod very handsfree, which would be awesome.

Solomark Titan 12x50 Monocular
This is a very nice monocular, more so when considering the price. It is lightweight, very well built and easy to handle and focus with just one hand. It comes with end-caps, sturdy heavy duty table tripod, strap and case. The supplied tripod works very well but if you wanted you could still use it on a full height standard (1/4") photographic tripod.Optics are sharp and at 12x magnification the monocular can reveal a lot of detail. The optics are fully multi-coated and the coatings in my example were very well applied. The large aperture makes it ideal for use in poor lighting conditions, anything larger would probably be too heavy to handle with one hand. The long eye-relief helps a lot and this may be important to spectacle wearers. I will also fit in large pocket unlike a 50mm aperture binocular, this is feature I particularly liked. The monocular is sold as waterproof but I did not have a chance to test this.Overall a very good buy, recommended!

Broken
Update to below review:Seller contacted me proactively and replaced the item quickly. Replacement works, but have not taken it out to put it thru its paces yet. Picture is clear-ish, pretty good for the price considering high end units are thousands of dollars. Took me afew minutes to figure out the night vision; the unit works as daytime binoculars, too. Instructions could be more clear. The biggest selling point for me is the view screen, which is the only one I've found that ican use with my glasses. That's a big plus. 4 stars based on that and customer service at this point.Item was broken when i got it. Flap for battery door was broken and unit would not come on. I buy a LOT of items on Amazon, and this is the first time ever an item has not worked out of the box.

These are excellent and as good as my $3500 version.
This was an excellent choice. The performance makes these a bargain. The camera lacks some of the bells and whistles but it allows you to see in total darkness. The batteries are subject to leaking because of the way they are enclosed. This is a bargain at $1200 but it’s an even better deal at just under $300. Six months and I am more than satisfied. You may find you spend too much time in the dark looking for anything that moves.

You get what you pay for
I didn’t know what to expect when I purchased these, but they were not what I wanted. The display screen is so bright that it defeats the purpose of having night vision. The bright light spills out of the binoculars and screws up your own vision so that you can’t see anything around you. These would be perfect for someone who wants to see wildlife at night while you’re sitting in a chair and don’t need to walk anywhere. The picture is super grainy and not very detailed. You can see better in the dark with these, but every animal in the woods is going to see your light spilling out before you ever see them. Save your money and buy something better.

Great for the price!
I love this product especially for the price. I can see everything at night. Got this for coyote hunting but we use it all the time just to watch the dog in the woods or see if the deer are outside! It goes far and really is worth the money. A bit bulky but for the price worth it!
