Despite some of the negative reviews about rusting, I decided to take a chance on this tumbler. I immediately fell in love when I took it out of the package. The color is awesome and it felt heavy and well made. Unfortunately it stained after the first use (black tea) which was annoying, but not a huge deal. A few weeks later, the stainless steel inner coating started to peel and rust. I wish I could return this item, but I first noticed this rusting one day after my 30 day return window closed. I'm beyond bummed.

It's probably weird to be as excited as I am about having this tumbler, but I'll just cop to it and tell you all that I think it's pretty glorious. It's sturdy AF (I've dropped it, swiped it, bumped it, etc), nice looking, keeps my water wonderfully cold, the straw is AMAZING. It's one of my favorite things in my refrigerator after the Cabot cheese. I got the largest size and use this tumbler daily instead of a drinking glass because I only drink water and I drink a lot of it. It washes wonderfully (I hand wash, btw), and it's incredibly thoughtful that Healthy Human even includes a straw cleaner with the tumbler. I already had a sturdier straw cleaner so I use that, but I keep the other for backup and continue to be impressed with their customer service.Most of all, I like that this product is reusable and that the company is thoughtful about how they manufacture their products and interact with their customers. Whenever I make purchases, small or large, I try to factor in sustainability, reuse, daily care, and manufacturing source, so this product gets a lot of gold stars for so many reasons. I wish it was made in the U.S. but I know China is the largest producer of steel and it makes logical sense that these are made there. I did a lot of looking, a lot of research, before buying a tumbler I wanted to use that met my desired purchase criteria and this was the one. I can't verify their "responsible" practices in China, though maybe someday I will fall down that rabbit hole. Purchase power as a consumer is important, even (and especially) with daily use items like this, so I encourage people to think deeply about those kinds of choices as engaged citizens.So yeah, you're thinking, "It's a TUMBLER, get over yourself." That's fine, think whatever you want. These are just some of the reasons why and how I chose this product and I figure there's got to be some other cheese-loving crazies out there who will follow my logic.Bottom line: product is great, really excellent quality, and I not only recommend but would purchase for others as gifts.

I waited a bit to try this out before posting a review and I can honestly say they weren't exaggerating how well this works. I use it constantly because I have medications that give me dry mouth and just drinking water doesn't help. I fill this up with flavored water and some ice and it stays cold all day. At night even with it sitting on my nightstand right by the heating vent I have a constantly cold drink. Today I filled it up with hot coffee and went out to snow blow my driveway (we got about 8-10 inches) and it kept my coffee nice and warm the entire time! I love that the straw is metal because it makes it easy to clean with the included brush and I don't have to worry about bacteria building up in any scratches. I'll most likely be ordering more of these for my family because my sister wants one now as well. As for durability it's held up to me dropping it multiple times without so much as a scratch. I'm kind of a klutz and I went through 3 plastic tumblers before I found this one, believe me it's definitely worth the price.

This is my 3rd purchase from Healthy Human, having previously purchase 2 of the insulated 16oz bottles about a year ago. Based on the great customer service I received, I decided to purchase the cruiser tumbler as I was looking for something a bit more easy to drink coffee from on my commute into work. I purchased the 20 oz cruiser tumbler, and so far have probably used it about 20 times. In addition to my Healthy Human water bottles, I also own several Kleen Kanteen insulated and non-insulated bottles as well as a Yeti insulated bottle, so this review takes my experience with those products into consideration in my overall opinion.Like my previous Healthy Human purchases, the cruiser tumbler is made of a durable stainless steel construction. While not powder coated, the Art Deco coating seems to be fairly durable, but time will tell if it holds up. I do opt for hand washing vs. the dishwasher, after experiencing some paint chipping on my older Kleen Kanteens, which I am now trying to avoid. In addition to the tumbler, a clear plastic lid with a rubber gasket is included. So far I have found the lid is enjoyable for drinking hot beverages (coffee) and does not retain smells (again, I wash these by hand after use). I will revisit this review after more uses, but so far I am quite pleased with it. Finally, the tumbler arrived with a stainless steel straw and small brush to clean it. I have not yet had an opportunity to use the straw, but anticipate it will come in very handy as we move into the Summer months and I switch over to iced coffee!Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. I have not extensively tested the heat retention properties, but so far I have found that if I prepare a cup of coffee in the morning and have to walk away from my desk or join a meeting for an hour or two, I'm happy find the coffee is still pleasantly hot to drink when I return. This is a great improvement over disposable paper cups (obviously) and most coffee mugs, which outweighs any slight inconvenience I might experience by toting it around in my backpack every day.It's worth noting that the lid is not completely sealed off, so don't expect 100% leak proof performance, more like a standard coffee cup lid. I'm not sure if it's possible to purchase alternative lids for this tumbler, but something to be aware of if you're planning to throw it in a backpack or put it in a place where it may tip over. In that case, I would recommend looking at one of the insulated bottles, which I have found to work well for this purpose.

Bought this to help keep my wife hydrated while she is at home on maternity leave breastfeeding our baby girl. It's perfect... does what it says on the tin. It keeps cold drinks cold all day, or until they run out and need to be refilled. The metal straw takes a little getting used to, but saves on the plastic and is easier than trying to sip from the mouth piece.The bright colour makes it easy to see no matter where you take it. I would recommend this or its baby brother to anyone looking to stay hydrated and refreshed.

This is a very interesting product as I want to like it, primarily because it looks awesome and it costs a small fortune for what it is, but I find myself getting annoyed with it.Quality wise, it’s fantastic (my issues are functionality related discussed below). Well made, strong, everything fits and lines up correctly and the lid sits perfectly flush all the way around. The company name looks laser etched and perfectly horizontal, not crooked, so they have very good quality control. Colour wise, I ordered the “Mojitio” which looks yellowish on Amazon but more green in person. If you are ordering the same colour, it’s very close to the fifth picture on Amazon that says BPA free, 18/8 steel and all the other buzz words.Now the things that bother me…The stainless straw: you cannot take a sip without it rubbing on the bottom and making lots of noise. I work in a quiet office so it’s unfortunately noticeable. Twice I have tried to take a sip and hit my teeth with it which hurt. Totally my fault, but when it happens with a plastic straw it’s no big deal and I probably never noticed myself doing it before, but the metal straw makes you aware of it as it hurts. Also, the cleaning brush which is included is 3/4 of an inch shorter than the straw so you have to flip it while cleaning. Admittedly, a very small thing, but annoying when you clean it several times per day.The plastic clear lid: this is without a doubt a decoration piece only. It doesn’t screw on, you push it on and it seals with a rubber gasket. As a result it’s not secure so I wouldn’t trust it to prevent spills if you dropped it. The straw hole is also 1 inch wide so the liquid would easily pour out of there anyway. I’m sure it helps to keep some of the steam in for hot drinks and slow down the cooling process, but that’s about it.As I use this only at work, I put the straw, brush and lid away and drink directly from the tumbler. It still keeps my coffee warm enough in the mornings and water cool enough during trips to the water fountain. It looks great on my desk and keeps me hydrated which is ultimately what I bought it for. Was it worth the money? Probably not. Is it eye-catching? Yes, lots of people ask me about it.Side notes: hand wash only, not microwavable and made in China.Pros:- All pieces are well made- Looks great- Straw cleaning brush includedCons:- Straw is noisy- Lid won't prevent spills- Very expensive

I have not used it yet so can not comment on its performance. However having just opened the box I am disappointed to find the metal is scratched, the pattern is stretched and rippled and there is a mark on the pattern too. I expected it too be better.

Partner has Parkinson's following a drink going on new carpet I purchased so that he can still enjoy a hot drink in lounge without being concerned about a mishap and me losing my cool. Keeps drink lovely and hot.

Purchased for a trip to an all inclusive hotel, it keeps cold things cold, ice cubes stay frozen overnight (yes!) and hot things hot, and I mean very hot for a long time so a cup of tea made with boiling water stays very hot for 2 hours (yes!). Would I recommend this too right I would.
