A must have especially if there are elders at home. Only improvement is the receiver could feature battery backup too which will help incase of Power failure. Looks decent compared to many other items. Volume control and Melody settings are easily accessible and unobtrusive. Make sure that it is connected to a power outlet which is connected to inverter. Usually power sockets are not connected to inverter. So, it may not work in case of power failure. There are battery operated bells in the market but they all looked cheap. But they have advantage that you can move it to any room you like snd simply place them on the table and they don't depend on external power supply. Choose them depending on your need.

Range not enough only 50 meters in our room bell not ring

Very useful for senior citizens. I stay in firstfloor and my parents in ground floor. I have put this in my parents room. Whenever they need any family member, they can just press the button. No need to call and use mobile or landline. I have been using it for last 6 months. It has different sound options also. Need to be plugged in permanently

DO NOT BUY ANY COSTAR PRODUCTS, else you will regret like me. I bought the 2 receiver 1 push doorbell set worth INR 1700. After receiving we found, this is a typical cheap Chinese product. 1 of the receivers stopped working next day of installation. It is not a pairing issue. This faulty receiver stopped binking light, making it clear that receiver was not working. COSTAR says they provide warrenty support. We reached them, registered complaint. They initially asked many things, like invoice, issue description, a video of the issue. We had provided everything. But then they asked us to send this entire set to their Mumbai office, on our own courier cost. They would check this it seems, & then they may send us the replacement. We have decided not to proceed with this option, as similar products are available in our local China bazar. Why to spend money on courrier?
