It works good fishing wire through the wall

Exactly as described and worked perfectly. The hook on the end kept getting caught in the roof of the gas station that I was wiring so I had to straighten out the end but other than that no problems whatsoever.

I truly expected more from this Southwire Fish Tape. It is difficult to insert and remove the tape from the case. The plastic used in the case is too lightweight and flexible, causing the two parts to bind and not slide smoothly against each other. For someone like me, who uses a fish tape once a year or less, this will work just fine and was a good value compared to other products.

Works just fine. Bought for 1 home improvement project and have used it on several more since then.

Pitiful product. Was barely able to extent the fish. It was creaking and cracking and obviously was not coiled properly. Couldn't easily get it to recoil and the poor thing was getting more and more off track. Kind of gotnthe fish back in the it was warped and unusable. An absolutely terrible product. I immediately returned it. I hope they don't send you that one. SMH

Good quality for the price

Not sure if the unit is faulty, or if it is the design, but it is really hard to "play out" the tape from the reel - requires some serious strength to get it to come off, and then it's a hassle to get it back rolled up.

Very good and heavy quality, very handy tool and easy to use, i recommend for sure

Bought to run ether net cable through walls, i received it and unwound about 180cm crunching noise and it became impossible to unwind further, was sent a replacement, this time it unwound 90cm and crunch. Don't waste your money on this product the fact that both of the ones i received were defective means quality control is non-existant
