Are the geese dead when their down/ feathers are removed?

This is not a silly question. I saw a video a couple if years ago, I couldn't tell you the country as it all happened in a ramble shacked barn and people's faces were blocked out but live geese were being plucked right down to the fine down feathers leaving the geese bewildered , dazed in pain and covered in blood. Although I would like to purchase feather pillows I'm very sceptical about how the feathers have been collected no creature should suffer.

I am a little confused. It says for one pillow it has been reduced from £100 - £43.96 But the original price for 2 pillows is £87.92. So no discount🤔

Noisy? I don’t hear any noticeable sound coming from it. Surround it with the right pillowcase and you’ll be fine.
