Recognized by 2017 M130fn
My M130fn complained that it's not genuine HP, but accepted it. The printer was made back in 2017, back when HP had a little honesty in the monochrome laser printer segment (going through the printer today I don't even recognize this as HP anymore apart from the logo... separate drum, wide control over settings, accepts third-party toners...)Installation is straight forward, and build quality is good.Print quality is comparable to OEM.The price is right.I have long contemplated getting a newer laser with full-duplex copy/print and WiFi... but I'll keep this one until it breaks. Printers that accept third-party inks are practically non-existent today, and it's becoming rarer to find a laser printer that takes third-party toners (definitely not HP).

You pay $100 for one of these at OfficeMax. I have these scheduled for auto shipment every 30 days because it is so cheap you cannot pass up and it is just as good of quality.
