Can this be laid down to move and then plugged in to use ?

We did this to transport it in the car from home to college

How long does it take to get cold?

The directions say to let it stand upright for 24 hours then to allow it to cool on level 5 for 4-5 hours.

I want to use this for solar use only, how much solar power would I need to operate this mini fridge?

Look up on the internet on how to determine what is needed for watts to properly run any item or items. It's a lengthy process but saves you in the long run.
