Wall ControlStandard Slotted Hook Pack - Slotted Metal Pegboard Hooks for Wall Control Pegboard and Slotted Tool Board - Red

Ordered 2 packages of hooks. Product description states there are 6 hooks per package. I only received 2 hooks (1 per package). Update: I was going to return the hooks, but contacted WallControl directly. These are supposed to be sent in packages of 6. The problem is at the Fullfillment Center. Wallcontrol made good and is sending the additional hooks directly to me at no cost. I would advise ordering directly from Wallcontrol.com.

I really like the Wall Control system. Things just stay put better than standard 1/4" pegboard. This hook is great for most flat tools with a hole or loop. I have also used two together to hang longer items. This is my go to for making custom 3D printed holders as well - I just design a slot in the holder I want to print, and slide it on to this hook. Thicker items, like rolls of duck tape, work better on the longer hooks.

I love my wall control boards. I was able to pick out what color I wanted and the functionality I needed. I have mine mounted on barn door tracks so I can move them in front of a set of wire racks and get to the items behind the boards. Because the wall control has its own metal frame I was able to do this. I had an issue with a couple hooks being too big to fit in the slots and Wall Control sent replacements immediately, there customer service is fabulous.

They are loose from the package. Bent the side tabs back a bit. Until you can hardly get these to slid on. They will basically lock in place and WILL NOT come out without using tools.Exactly what I was looking for. Pegs that once are installed stay in place. Drives me crazy when you grap a tool and the peg comes with it. Or worse drops to the floor. No crawling around looking with these locked in place.

Purchased the wall control system for my garage. It is an extremely poor design. Regular pegboard parts do not fit well. Wall control parts are difficult to use in the intended slots and the design hardly holds anything solidly. Very disappointed. Better to purchase regular metal pegboard from Lowes or Home Depot.

Pros:- Simple to install- Reasonably priced- Holds items securely, after bending the mounting tabs to make the hook stay firmly in its slot- Made in USA, not comm't ChinaCons:- Side tabs must be bent back in order for the hook to stay on the panel, otherwise it'll pull off very easily, but bending the tabs is easy to doRecommended.

The function is good, but like all pegboard pegs/fasteners/hooks, they come out when taking a tool off the wall. Although, I will say this does not happen as often as it does with traditional pegs, in fact, some times its hard to take one of these hooks off the wall.

Except I should've done more howework. Hooks smaller than I imagined but thats my fault. Work great and will have a use.

Can be used with a wide range of garden and other tools.
