Excellent gift for 14 year old family member
I purchased this for my 14-year-old family member who absolutely loves anything having to deal with aerodynamics planes, etc. With that being said, he was so happy to receive this.

Plane flew right into the trash bin
I bought this as a Christmas present for my boyfriend... And it was frankly a waste of money. When he pulled everything out of the box, it looked super organized, reminiscent of the way Lego(TM) organizes their builds. That's where the similarity stops.Biggest frustrations:1. An obnoxious amount of missing pieces w/ a boatload of extras that are of no importance or use - like literally around 100 extras.2. Directions and bags did not match up *at all* and the numbering of the bags is pointless. The bags are never referenced in the instruction book and parts for a section of the build are not actually in the same bag together. Not sure if this was due to the previously mentioned pieces that were missing, or if pieces were just scattered across all 12+ bags without any rhyme or reason.3. The build is extremely delicate - pieces were falling off/apart left and right. Things just don't fit snuggly together the way they should. I honestly would recommend super-gluing each individual piece together, even if using for display. It's just not stable. The "final" build, after heavily modifying with spare parts, was flown directly into the trash. Don't waste your money or time.

Identical Quality
4.5 stars, Great product with competitor quality to lego sets. Instructions weren’t too difficult, easy couple hours of entertainment. Unfortunately i did end up with two or three missing pieces and a plethora of excess, but i was able to find replacements in my tub of childhood legos since those missing were commonly used bricks. Nevertheless an all around great product, if this were a name brand “lego” set you wouldn't be able to tell the difference and would likely pay double the price.

The Build is Very Fragile
My son bought this plane. He loved the look of the build and would love to have it displayed. Unfortunately, it was a very frustrating build and the end result is very fragile. Putting it together was a test of his patience. The pieces needed extra pressure to fit together and pushing too hard would break other parts. Also it seams like there is a flaw in the design in a few places. It doesn’t fit together firmly and square, there are a couple places that are angled and the pieces don’t connect well. Worst of all, once this is finished, you cannot touch. Barely bumping it can result in parts breaking off. It is a poor design with poorly interlocking pieces. Definitely not a good build for kids and even adults will likely find it frustrating.

Expensive and doesn't hold up
I got this for my son and boyfriend to build together. My sons favorite plane is the A10 warthog (this plane). I was excited and willing to spend the money for it. When he got it he was soooo excited!!!! My son has built lego sets for the last 7yrs and my boyfriend has been building with him for a year now. They were both excited to spend some bonding time together on this plane... however the directions weren't the clearest the had to take it apart several times and fix a few things... not a big deal tho as that happens. The only real issue we had was how easy the plane would brake apart. As the were putting pieces on the wings would fall off the tail would falls off. Normally they build it first make sure it's correct add lego setting then glue it together. When my son went to his dad he and I spent 9hrs taking what was built apart and trying to glue it back together. While tried to put a piece on the wing broke off again and we lots 2 of the pieces as well a pieces when the tail broke off. We finally said forget it and let him use the pieces to build soemthing else. My son has buile lego sets in the 1,000 so I really wasn't worried about this being a problem but we were really disappointed. I'm currently look for a different A10 for him to build.
