Is just what I needed
Inside one of our old outbuildings we have a ceiling fan w/single light fixture. The fixture was for a chandelier sized base bulb, which never gave much light either, so I 'upgraded' to this adapter. Perfect.

LOVE IT!!!
Wish I had known about this option years ago. I have struggled to find a fitting light bulb that is at least40 watts. Was always looking for at least 60 watts...but it is nowhere to be found! ANNOYING! Not to mention the expense of this size of light bulb in the minimum $4 if you are lucky... I am very grateful for this, now I can finally use any light bulb I want. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

"Sheds new light on me"!
This adapter is exactly as described. It takes the E17 socket and makes it where you can use a regular Light bulb. It is Great. Well worth the few dollars it cost. Open the package and screw it in. It saved me from having to replace the light fixture.
