solid, positive cap connect both ends, smooth writing, strong pocket clip, and ready for action, both ends, unlike the PewPew pen, in which I bought 2. 1 came unusable, (and replaced quickly without return) and they both have week clips, a pen hole in one end, and un-positive twist to expose pen point. This one is solid, (a touch heavier) and ready to use as is, and feels good and strong in your hand. the back end has a glass breaker, and the front end had a positively attached, removable, pointed cap, that's the business end. Good job! ("for sale: 2 PewPew tactical pens, cheap!" <or give away>) Almost like a roll if dimes, (a little smaller in diameter) with points on both ends. UPDATE: These pens are a lot better than others, but lasts about 3-4 weeks. Now I have 3 of these and a box of parts to put one together. After awhile, the O-ring comes loose, and the pen end won't snap on either end. I'm in the middle of figuring out how and where the ring goes.

I originally purchased 2 of these, one for myself and one for a friend as a gift. We both loved them so much, I bought 3 more as gifts. Very sturdy as the cap does not wiggle. Great grip. Quality is fantastic. Pen also writes well, is comfortable to hold and has 2 additional refills. Would highly recommend this pen to anyone that is into tactical gear! Price is great, fast ship. The weight distribution is also great, so it fits my hand well. Gave this to women and men for gifts and it was a hit! Thank you!!

Great product gave out as Christmas gifts

I really love the heft of this pen and the fact that the cap fits on the opposite end when using it as a pen and not a self-defense item. Other items like this don't have this feature and you could possibly lose the cap. It writes beautifully and has a nice feel in my hand. I showed this pen to my wife and demonstrated its features and she unhesitatingly said, "I want one!" So, her self-defense pen will be delivered today (2/18/20). I will conduct some drills with her on the use and carry of this pen as it pertains to her self-defense so that I won't have to worry quite so much when she's running errands alone. Get this pen for your wife and get one for you...if you have daughters that you'd like to worry less about their safety, get them one also. Then train them in its defensive use! Look to youTube for training instruction. Great item and well worth the investment! Semper Fi!

very sturdy cap style pen. the cap is NOT screwed on, but rather snaps in place. this pen takes the parker style refills. just watch out for the chinese knock-offs out there that only have a drop of ink. the build feels very sturdy in the hand. no rattles or moving parts. you can take off the pocket clip if you plan to house it in a sleeve.

This is first and foremost a weapon. I’m an airline pilot, and I bought it to carry on trips as both a personal protection device, and a functional pen. This will never pass airport security. It is thick and very large in your hand, larger than most markers. The pen cap is difficult to remove, and it doesn’t write well. It is however, a very sturdy and durable protection device to carry in your pocket. I also bought the Smootherpro Bolt-Action pen with glass breaker that I now carry on all my trips since it is built from aircraft aluminum and normal pen size.

Well worth the monies spent .. Big fan of the pull top, I have CRKT tactical pens that are screw tops and that can get a bit annoying at times, allows the ability to write much quicker. The "breaker point" is exposed which in my opinion is not a issue but if you are carrying while flying might draw attention from TSA.
