I hate leaving a review so soon after the product was delivered but......
I got a bad bag of potting soil. It looked so nice that I went ahead and repotted some plants, and up-potted a bunch of seedlings with it. I spent a lot of money on a small Monstera plant, and now it was dying because of these gnats, so it is not only annoying... it is costing me a lot of money because my new plant was dying. Within a week I was infested with gnats. I was on the phone with a friend and she suggested that I put out beer in a bowl. We went through all the things and it just seemed to create more gnats. I bought bug spray and they just laughed at it, like wriggling around just to dry off their wings.I originally did not think this was from the potting soil... I am in Florida. Bugs are a way of life here. But for cripes sake I have never had an issue with little flying gnats everywhere and I have been living here and having potted plants and a garden since 2007. But I figured it was just the time of year. It is MADDENING.I took a small freshly potted plant to work and now my office is full of flying gnats.Anyway, I bought a sticky plug-in device and it worked pretty good. I must have 100 stuck to it, plus some unidentifiable flying things lol. But it is up against the wall and you have to depend on the bugs to like the nice blue light to attract them.In my extensive research including watching youtube videos, I have found that you can kill or catch the gnats, but they are fungus SOIL gnats. By the time you catch a flying adult, they have already laid 300 eggs into your soil, so they are never really gone. And the larvae munch on your plants roots. So you need a larvicide to kill the babies that have been inseminated into your potted plants soil. So it is a 1-2 punch...put the sticky traps to kill the flying adults, and drench your soil with a larvicide tea made in 30 minutes. This is how you eliminate them. Sticky tape and MB to kill the larva.ON TO THE PRODUCT. I guess the gnats love the yellow, because as soon as I put one of the tabs into the soil of an infected plant, I caught 8 within a few seconds. So I grabbed all of my potted plants and stuck them into the same area as the plant with the sticky tag, and that one tab that I stuck in the dirt was attracting all of the gnats. I put one in a hanging plant above, and it instantly caught the little suckers. So then I made up my larvicide tea. Let that cool off (cause I made it with hot water to dissolve), and watered all of my potted indoor plants regularly. I didn't want to just dump this other stuff on dry soil. After everything was hydrated, I poured the larvicide as if I was fertilizing. A couple more gnats flew up as I disturbed the dirt, but flew right to the yellow tape.I can tell you that I my delivery for the yellow tags were just delivered a few hours ago, and I am sitting here comfortably without swatting anything or squishing gnats against my computer screen. This is an awesome product to attract the adults, but you also need to get rid of the larvae that are in the soil, so get a larvicide as well. The tags are super convenient to use. Just stick them in the dirt of the plant like a plant tag. I recommend these.

Great for catching Gnats when starting seeds indoors.
These are a must if you start your garden seedlings by seed in door. Nasty little gnats are such a nuisance! I put a few of these in various places amongst my seedling trays while they were under lights and bye bye gnats and good riddance.

Good for Indoor Greenhouses
Great For Indoor Greenhouse! I was having problems on occasion with the fungus gnats, but these stickies reduce the number quickly so they do not breed and lay more eggs.

Sticky sticky!!
These yellow guys have really went above and beyond for my green leafy friends. I have decided to try out my green thumb with some beautiful flowers and not having much knowledge about them did not know where I was getting gnats from. By the time I found out it was from fungus gnats I had a big problem with them.I put these in before with and 8 hours later they were full. Amazing! Two sided sticky. Just pull off the paper on both sides or one if you choose. Place sticking out of soil and let them do the hard work.Would absolutely buy again.
