I was looking for a hair color that would actually cover stubborn grays, and this one worked really well. The Deep Medium Natural Brown shade came out rich and natural-looking without looking flat or overly dark. It covered my grays much better than some other boxed dyes I’ve tried, and my hair still felt soft afterward. The color was easy to apply and gave me even, consistent coverage. For the price, I’m very happy with the results and would definitely use it again.

I would give this product to be the dark brown in tends to be a little too dark, but it washes out and fades overtime, but then brings out the red in my hair, which is a nightmare. I think I’m gonna have to have my hair done professionally and spend that money darn it.

I have purchased this exact Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Coverage in 'Deep Soft Black' (shade 200) 26 times now, which should tell you everything you need to know about how well the actual product works. It is my absolute holy grail for covering stubborn grays. The nourishing creme formula is easy to apply, and it leaves my hair feeling moisturized rather than completely dried out and damaged. The color itself is a beautiful, natural-looking black that has dimension, rather than looking like flat, artificial shoe polish. However, my main reason for writing this review is to warn other buyers about the ordering process. The biggest frustrating problem with this specific shade is that it is constantly running out of stock on Amazon. Because it is so frequently unavailable, third-party sellers heavily take advantage of the low inventory and drastically inflate the price. A normal, fair price for this should be right around $25, but I continually see shady sellers overcharging and pricing it at $35 or more. The Verdict: The hair dye itself is flawlessly a 5-star product and the only one I trust. Just be very careful to check who the seller is and what the current price is before you check out. If you see it in stock for its normal $25 price point, do yourself a favor and buy a few boxes to hold you over until the next restock!

Good product this brand is all I use with the avocado oil it's milder and makes your hair real soft and great color

This is one of the better drugstore hair dyes I have used. It 100% covers stubborn, gray and silver hair. It looks very natural and is very affordable. I've tried so many other brands by L'Oreal, Revlon, and some others that just did not compare to this product. I will say that the formula is thicker so it does take a little more time to mix everything together, but other than that totally worth it

This is what I use at home when I can't get to my favorite beauty salon out of state. It costs less than $10, and my hair color stays for several months since I have dark hair. When I got a haircut locally, the beautician complimented the shade of my hair color. Please note that I only have stray gray hair at the temples, and it's random. I can get by without hair color, but prefer to touch up. Great value for the price and so convenient to have it delivered on subscription.
