Is the material soft? Do you think the "one size" is maybe a large or an extra large?

The material is soft and pleasant feeling. My husband wears a large and this has a more than adequate wrap over for him. The measurement from side to side at waist is 98" .Each front piece is 16" and back is 26".

Does it shrink at all after washing and drying?

No it did not shrink after several washings. My husband loved the robe & I love the easy care of washing and drying.

what is the length of the robe? What si the length of the sleeves?

Good morning. I apologize for the delay with my response. The length of the robe is 48" (not including the 2" collar). The length of the sleeves along the inseam is 16". The width of the sleeves 12". The sleeves are pretty wide so they tend to catch on things. My husband is 5'9" and on the husky side and this robe fits very well. It hangs at the knees and fits across his back nicely. I will purchase this robe again and give as gifts; it's that nice.
