Great training aid
If you have problems with weight shift this is great training aid, after using this consistently for a couple days your lower body movements and sequencing becomes much better.

Works great! Can be a very tricky to use at first for Over the Top golfers.
Fair price and well built. Nice training aid to work on getting weight shift forward and improving your strike. If you are an upper body Over the Top golfer this device will be hard and frustrating.. Recommend starting with small pitches and chips till you get good at it.

Golf training aid
It pronounces the weight shift. I have found it to be a huge help in knowing how to set your weight on your feet from trail to lead.

Not so good!
Cheaper than the Orange Pressure Plate...but that's all that's good about it. Just having the single board in the middle is very wobbly. I sent it back and got the Orange Pressure Plate that is molded plastic and tapered all the way out, so no wobbles, just weight shift!

Fantastic board to practice weight shifting
I have seen many versions of this board as an avid golfer and student of the sport. I have always wanted one of these for my home but was afraid to pull the trigger since many of these boards are expensive. While this is pricey as well, it is cheaper than some of the other, better known brands. While other pressure plates may have features like gradual cant so that shifting doesnt cause jerky movements, this board is not a tool you are going to hit a whole bucket of balls on. This is to get the "feel" down between a number of balls hit or club change. If you use this board as intended, it is a great tool to have in your routine so that you can make sure your hip and leg movements are actually shifting your weight. I recommend.

Great for Beginner to Advanced
It's a simple device that's described as 15 plies of wood. That's a lot of plies and I would have expected a thicker board. Upon looking and counting the plies, I think the 15 applies to the middle piece of wood that is used to teeter the board. The board itself looks to be about 10 plies of wood glued together. The wood itself looks of good quality and I'm almost certain it's made from Pine. The board itself is solid and can withstand a high load. The top of the board itself has a non-slip material. The bottom has soft dampeners for the teetering. I would still not recommend using this on a hardwood surface in your home, unless you want to risk some damage. It's a simple device, that appears to be made of quality material, and pretty effective. I live in the Midwest and I haven't played since October 2024. This board is helping me to try and remember my golf swing for when March rolls around.I'm an advanced golfer (0-2 index), and I think this board is good for training beginner, intermediate, and advanced golfers. However, you must know how to use this board. You can lookup some existing videos, but here's my take:- Do not focus on the literal -- hey the board is teetering right and left. I'm good!- The focus is footwork. What keeps bad golfers from advancing or improving is that they do not understand the importance of good and correct footwork. The golf swing starts from the ground up.- With proper footwork, you will have proper weight shifting.- Focus on fundamentals and keep that left food down -- Greg Normal always talked about rotating his right pocket back to where his right butt cheek was, Xander Schauffele talks about loading the right inside of his foot.- Keep that left foot down and swing back to impact position, feel that stretch in the left hip and left glute.I'm not a golf coach, and I'm not here to enforce my swing theory on anyone. I'm simply saying -- focus on footwork and the swing, and not the results of the board. The board is an accessory to reinforce the move and muscle feeling. The golf swing is incredibly technical and this only helps with 1 foundational piece of the swing. One must acknowledge this will not make you an immediate better golfer. If you can get past that, I would recommend this product for all golfers.
