This is my first ever bottle of this vitamin, so I have only taken one so far. This is a large bottle, and the pills are large, but I do not find them too large to swallow at all. I have had to swallow larger pills than these before, some that were truly gag worthy. This pill went down quite easily with a gulp of room temperature water. I did not taste much flavour, thank goodness. I had a meal about 4 or so hours ago, but in future, I plan to take the vitamin with my meal. I think they likely will metabolise much better that way. If this multi-vitamin does help my health, then this is very good value for money, and that is saying something because I do not feel I get good value from the medical profession any more ever. Doctors offices are horrible these days, and hospitals are MUCH worse. Here we have what are supposed to be 200 high quality multi-vitamins for roughly $16 or so. I think that is a really good deal, and I am worth it. So are you! My experience with vitamins has always been that I never notice any difference in how I feel until I STOP taking them, so I do not expect to notice a big improvement in how I feel as I take these because I think the change will be both gradual and subtle, but I bet by the time I finish this bottle if I stop taking them, I will feel it. At this time, I have no reason not to give these an overall thumbs up. My bottle has an expiration date of 11/20. ETA: I do not have a problem swallowing these vitamins, but I find the pill just sticks in my chest for a good long time after I swallow it, and it HURTS. It takes at least an hour for it to dissolve enough to stop feeling painful in my chest. I think perhaps if these were coated, they would go down much more smoothly. This is a pretty big issue for me because I do NOT like pain (who does?), so I will not upgrade these vitamins to 5 stars for this reason alone. For best results, I now take the vitamin during the middle of a meal. As I continue to eat my food, it seems to help push the pill down. If I take it after a meal, it just sticks painfully in my chest for at least an hour. If you have this problem, I suggest you take it just before you begin eating your meal, or take it during your meal but not afterward.

This is a great multi vitamin for women over 50. We have different needs as we're getting older. This vitamin has pretty much everything that you'd want in a multivitamin. I can take this on an empty stomach with no problems and I like that it's just one pill a day and the pill size is not enormous. It's a very easy pill to swallow and I'd suggest this to anyone that wants a complete multivitamin and the price is great too. This is a winner.

I used these vitamins 6 or 7 years ago and stopped because I hadn't reached the age of 50 yet. Pretty dumb if you ask me. I didn't put it together that my blood draw results were full of complications from vitamin deficiency putting me in the category of being "malnourished". Malnourished? I'm a fat American that LOVES good food. Preferably Italian food. ALL American cuisine! How's a fat women that inhaled burgers and lasagna like air, malnourished? I was sick and tired of being scolded by my doctor to... #1: Stay out of anyplace that takes 10-15 minutes to get a meal! #2: Eat more leafy greens! #3: Take a multivitamin! #4: Exercise! Well, being the typical non-compliant pain in her backside, none of the aforementioned recommendations were acceptable. I also noticed problems with my finger nails. They were forming pits in them. This is a sure sign of malnutrition. I've been back on these vitamins for 2 months now. My first blood results showed no signs of malnourishment. What a relief. I feel better, my finger nails are growing again with no pits, my hair is growing stronger, and my skin feels better. I don't know how they'll work for you. For me, it's all good.

I don't see any change since taking the Centrum Silver Women 50+ multivitamins. I am sure that it is doing some good.
