Another Great Skecher shoe
These are big stretch for me as a currently wear the Ultras for distance training. This is the other end of the Skecher line, their minimalist shoe. So I'm not real comfortable wearing to run just yet, but I've wearing them everywhere else, lightweight and supportive. Look great, maybe a little wide for me. I've tried every major brand of running shoe in my 20 years of marathons and Ironman, and I wouldn't waste a minute shopping for anything but Skechers. I love that they have like 5 shoes total. Easy product line to understand, and terrific value. I absolutely love the GoRun Ultras, but that is quite a bit more cushion that this Go Run 3.

Not the greatest styling but because they were so much cheaper compared ...
These shoes are comfy to both walk and run in. Not the greatest styling but because they were so much cheaper compared to in store I took a chance on them. The only downside of the shoe is the material used for the soles. They are made to "squish" when you walk but because of that I believe the material is not very sturdy and wears in faster than conventional sneakers. Still, at the price I paid (under $40) I don't mind the quicker than usual wear and tear.

I really want to like this shoe
The shoe seems pretty decent so far, but I'm getting a bit of rubbing on the outer edge of one of my feet. I'm a huge fan of the Go Run Ultras and was looking for something for my shorter, faster runs, but I'm not sure this will be the shoe. I'll put in a few more runs and update if they wear better when broken in a bit more.

Great for Nurses
Great everyday shoe for those of us on our feet more than 13 hours at a time. I have MBT's as well, and found these as the original Go Run version. I just replaced them with 2 new pair of these Go Run 3. I like them as much or better than MBT's because they are cheaper, and much lighter. I don't run in them, rather use them at work running up and down the halls of the hospital for 13 hours a shift. They are super light, and because of the mid strike there is no heel pain ever. I always use them with wool socks even on 100 degree plus days and my feet never sweat. I have no foot, back or knee, problems ever and with these at work I want to stay that way. They are great everyday shoes for anyone who has to work on their feet for very long periods of time.

Beware sizing
The shoes themselves are great, but a size 9 in these is like a size 11 in any other shoe i ve bought, including the original go run model. Returned these and found a pair of go run rides locally. Had to get an 8 in them.

Pleasantly Surprised
I was a little skeptical of Sketchers as a running shoe. I usually wear Merrell's which I also really like, but couldn't resist a black friday deal on this pair. One thing i like about them is that they allow you to switch between a less cushioned mimimal feel or a more cushioned one by adding or removing a pair of optional inserts included in the box. The shape of the shoe really does lend itelf to more of a midfoot strike, although I have been running in minimalist shoes for a long time now, so I might not be the best judge as this running form now comes pretty naturally to me. I have run a little over 100 miles in them so far, and would recommend them for sure. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

Solid Shoes
These are just really solid running shoes. They are very light and flexible, and have about an 8mm drop (with the provided insole - 4mm without it) so I felt like my calves worked slightly harder than usual during my first two or three runs. Other than that, they are very comfortable with a great upper, and a really generous amount of cushioning.I'm definitely not into minimalist shoes, and wouldn't really classify these as such. They are softer than my Mizuno's and while they let my feet (neutral anyway) go anywhere they want, they feel stable and roll very well from strike to toe-off.For the money, I'm very likely to buy Sketchers running shoes again, as I paid half of what I normally do. I'm looking to add some GoRun Ride 3's in to the rotation soon.

Shoes are great, came oversized...
Shoes are great, but was shocked they came at least a half size too large. I ordered a 12 and they came more like 12.5-13. I returned them and bought the Go Run "Ride" 3, in size 11.5 from a different vendor. Those came in at the expected size, but too small for my feet. Anyway, this color pattern is an older model, the "Ride" 3 is the newest model in production. You can tell by the color patterns, the new ones are different. I suggest getting those instead. Very excited to get the right size; I'm looking for a good race shoe. They feel very light but also supportive and comfortable.

Light, comfortable and stylish
I had been running for about a year when I picked out these Skechers to replace a battered pair of well-padded 'beginners' Asics. They were on sale at the time and looked like something different and non-traditional.They've been my first foray into minimalist running shoes, and honestly I'm still unsure about whether the GoRuns technically count on that front. They're certainly much less chunky than traditional trainers, however, both in the sole and the main body of the shoe. Even the tongue is little more than a pared-down strip of light black cloth.Much was made in the marketing about the slightly curved sole designed to promote a mid-foot strike - supposedly faster and less damaging than most people's heel-striking. It took me a while to get used to the slight rolling feel it causes, but I've not had any knee pain since I switched shoes and my lower calves feel like they're doing much more of the work than they used to.On the thought of hard work, the padding is certainly much lighter than my gel-filled Asics, and you feel the impact of sole on pavement with every step. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, though, as you feel much more connected to the road - like you're pushing off the ground rather than simply plodding along on top of it.Even so, if you're looking at regular long-distance jaunts you may want to go with something with a bit more padding. I know Skechers actually produce an 'Ultra' variant aimed at Marathon-and-up runners, but I've not tested them. The final selling points - at least for most folks - are the looks and the brand. On the first front the GoRuns perform admirably. They're stylish shoes that, unlike many companies' day-glo monstrosities, could easily pass for regular trainers. The brand is a bit of a personal choice. Skechers aren't well known for their running shoes and the GoRun line may get some condescending looks from serious runners, who still dismiss them as a choice of style over substance. In my case, however, this was one of their biggest attractions - I wanted something a little out of the ordinary. In terms of fit, my UK size 11s were a little on the tight side, and for the first couple of runs I got slight blisters on the tips of my toes. But over time they've stretched a little around my feet, and I've not noticed any real rubbing for weeks.Have they made me faster? Quite possibly. Even if they don't I certainly feel a little bit lighter and more agile on my feet. The only big issue is that I now feel obliged to but two more pairs of running shoes - padded ones for long runs, and proper minimalist ones for dashes around the park.Life is hard, folks.

For those who prefer zero drop
Great Shoe if you want zero drop between toe and heel. If you insert the insole, the drop is 4mm but then the middle of foot is uncomfortable. Without the insole, laces are a bit long.Great for foot splay.Well suited for upto half marathons. For full marathon, Go Run Ride 3 has slightly more cushion.Very appropriate for warm and cool weathers. For really cold weather, say about 5 deg C for less, Go Run Ride 3 is better as the upper and tounge of this shoe is not as cushioned and protective as the Run Ride 3To place the review in perspective, I have both Run 3 and Run Ride 3. I am 47yrs old, run 4 days a week and my time for half marathon is 1:33. I use these without insole i.e. zero drop.

good value for money shoe
Pros: - nice fit, feels comfortable, - Light weight - cushioning is good for a beginner to medium level running. - Value for money (i.e. with discounts) - Amazon delivery - no problemCons:- outer fabric looks a bit feeble.- may not be ideal for heavy workouts. To be used only for running / jogging- The shoe feels warm inside. Not sure if its breathable design

Terrific value
Great shoes though now superseded by go run4. This is my second pair, they take a little getting used to if you're used to Nike, ASIC etc as they are a more minimal shoe and are designed to promote midsole strike which can feel odd at first, like you're running slightly downhill all the time. You'll soon get used to it though and start posting good times. I ran p.bs over 5k, 10k, 10miles and a half marathon in my old pair. I am training for my first full marathon in June at the moment and have done over 20miles in them. Just last night I ran 16miles in 2hrs flat in the new pair with no problems. Sometimes I feel they could do with a slightly thicker sole if running over any kind of rough ground, but otherwise excellent shoes at a great price.

These are an amazing pair of shoes
These are an amazing pair of shoes. Have been using them for quite some time (more than an year and half), so here's the review- Very light in weight and if you have been wearing some other brands earlier you would feel the difference immediately.- Good heel support with a bouncy and cushiony feel and the shoe wraps around and fits the feet nicely once laced up.- Laces seem to keep untying from a knot.- The top of the shoe ventilates adequately for feet to breath.- Very good grip on and off the road in case you use them for running.- not recommended for running on slippery groundOverall - a fantastic buy and would recommend to all !!
