What is kinesiology tape, and how does it work?

Kinesiology tape is a therapeutic tape used to support muscles, joints, and ligaments without restricting range of motion.

How do I apply kinesiology tape properly?

To apply kinesiology tape properly, clean and dry the skin, cut the tape to the desired length, and round the corners to prevent peeling. Apply the tape to the skin with slight tension, following the muscle or joint structure.

Can I wear kinesiology tape while swimming or showering?

Yes, kinesiology tape can be worn while swimming or showering. However, for best results, make sure the tape is securely adhered to the skin before getting it wet, and gently pat it dry with a towel afterward to maintain its effectiveness.

How long can I leave kinesiology tape on?

Kinesiology tape can typically be worn for several days, depending on the area of application and skin sensitivity. If the tape starts to peel, causes irritation, or becomes uncomfortable, it should be removed sooner.
