Broke after 6 months
6 month review update. So after 6 months of using these 2-3 times a week one of the buckles has become damaged, a small piece of the part of the buckle that grips the strap broke off so now the buckles isn’t able to properly grip the strap making the strap unusable and then as a set unusable. The damage came from general use of the equipment. I’m gutted as they’re my fave purity piece of equipment and key to make workouts and finding just a new buckle or buckle and strap seems to be impossible.Bought these for the sole purpose of doing inclined pull ups.I usually use a door frame pull-up bar but it can feel restrictive with angles and positions and you have to loosen and tighten the bar every time you want to adjust it’s height. So I decided to try some rings and these were a great price and there was colour options, always love colour options. The straps were easy to set up, the manual explains how the straps fit into the buckles. I’m using them on a door frame bar I never have to undo them I just slide them on and off the bar. My only issue with the set up is that I think some people could do with instructions on how to fit them to a bar or frame etc it clearly shows how to thread the strap into the buckle but not how it relates to actually attaching the ring and whatever your hanging the strap on. It’s not difficult to figure out but I think there’s potentially a safety issue there if someone was to incorrectly set them up.Doing incline pull ups on them feels so much better than on a bar. The move feels more natural and it’s really easy to adjust your positions and angles of the pull up thanks to the straps. The straps are very long which really only means there’s lots of places you could use them. I use them in a doorway and the excess strap length doesn’t cause a problem.I’ve now started incorporating other ring exercises into my work out such press ups, looking forward to seeing how else I can use them going forward.

Unusual colours mean they are probably the best of the plastic rings
Most plastic rings on Amazon are about the same in terms of quality. I find the wooden rings to be a lot better for pullups or muscle ups, personally, but a decent quality set is going to cost double or evne triple the price of these plastic ones. As I'm just using these plastic rings for accessory work (bodyweight row, planks, pushups, etc) at home, I couldn't justify spending the extra money. These do exactly what I've asked of them and the colour of these rings sets them apart from the dozens of other black plastic rings available on Amazon. They look very cool and anyone who does come round to do a bit of training comments on them. The straps are easy to use (just gie the instructions a quick read to make sure you get the configuration right or they will slip).
