A lot of thought has gone into the design of this NEEWER 25.6"/65cm Parabolic Softbox. It is supplied with a useful storage bag and when it is packed down it is compact and very easy to transport.Assembling this softbox ready for use is straightforward and only takes a few minutes. It has a central post which allows the ribs to operate much like an umbrella and has the option of being used with or without the included deflector disc.There is an inner diffuser sheet which attaches to the inside of the softbox by hook and loop tabs and the front diffuser, has a strip of hook and loop around its entire circumference. The front sheet when fitted is recessed to allow for the included grid to then be fitted in front of it.The alloy mount is the Bowens type making this softbox compatible with a wide range of LED and Strobe type lighting. The materials used and construction certainly seem to be sturdy enough to withstand regular use.In use I have found it to be very effective in providing an even spread of light with no hot spots when used with LED or Flash lighting. For shooting portraits the shadows have nice soft edges and I have had some great results using a single light source. It is sufficiently lightweight for location use and I find the size ideal as it doesn’t destabilise my lighting stand when I am shooting outdoors on still days.In summary I am impressed by the quality, ease of use and performance of this NEEWER Parabolic softbox. It is a great addition to my lighting kit and I am happy to recommend.

This is by far the best NEEWER Softbox I have ever seen or used. It is 25.6"/65cm Parabolic shape Softbox with Double defusion panels as well as metal beauty Dish hotspot defuser and very well made egg crate grid for controlling the light.It is one of the easiest Quick Setup type Softbox which is opened and folded by push and pull mechanism just like umbrella. It has 16 strong and durable ribs inside and the materials are top notch. It has Bowen mount which is kind of universal standard in photography.I have uploaded few photos to show how soft and even the light is as well as the grid which controls the spread of light. It was mid day and sun was out too, the grid worked so good that I achieved black background even in a very small 12 ft by 10 ft room including all the furniture. Distance from wall was roughly 1 metre and having light walls makes it impossible to control light usually but this Softbox with the eggcrate grid was able to control the direction of light perfectly.It comes with a draw string Neewer bag and within minutes it is packed up in the bag ready to go wherever I need it. It will be great for outdoor, on location wedding photography. It's lightweight and compact for travelling but durable enough to be used on regular basis. It is easy to Setup and fold back.Overall a great addition to my photography and I will definitely recommend it to all my fellow photographers. One of the finest Softbox.

This is a great design and requires less setting up than it looks.The brolly is very well made and pretty lightweight. It unfolds easily, and although it takes a little force, the centrepiece blocks onto the pole very easily and is also easy to release. Before doing that, though, you need to install the optional deflector, which is a metal disc that sits over the pole. There is a rubber grommet in its centre which pops off easily so you need to slide the disk on with this between your fingers.There are two white soft diffuser discs which are easily attached to the Velcro at two distances from the flash. Then there is the honeycomb which again, easily attaches to the Velcro. I found this to have a little more slack that the others which stretch quite tightly.There are plenty of ways to use this with or whitoit Twitter the metal deflector or the three soft cloths.Very please with this.The only improvement I would make is to provide a pouch for the soft cloths for storage.
