Product Description Tenura anti slip red rectangular mats are a silicone rubber mat that offer excellent non slip qualities and can be used in many areas, such as tables and worktops. Tenura rectangular anti slip table mats provide a non slip surface without any complications. The washable silicone rubber they are produced from, offer a good bond to the surface the mats are placed on, but will not leave residue behind when removed. Tenura mats are made from materials that are non toxic, so can be used in areas that require a high standard of hygiene. Can be cleaned by hand or dishwasher if they ever get dirty. Multi use
Bought to help steady my husbands dinner plate as he recovers from a stroke. His carers have hijacked it and are using it on his transfer lift to help steady his feet!

Nice, does the job, nice color
I goth this for my mom, she is in an electric wheel chair with a table over her lap for eating and other activities. This was a nice mat to keep things from sliding around. I would recommend larger dimensions in her case, but others may be happy with it.

Non slip = yes, good size = yes, however cleaning it is a bit of a pain
This is a nice non slip mat that really has about as many functions as you can think of. We've used it to set on the table and then placed a pan or pot on top of with cooked foods, as a way to protect the countertop when we are preparing food (no knives -- just mixing and such) and as a place to rest wet dishes after we have washed them. For all those things this size (that of a regular smaller placement) is very nice. The only issue we've had is the most frequent use for us is as an additional drying space as we live in a house built in the 30's and so there is no dishwasher. We put this on the counter and it works very nicely. The problem is the dishes and such leave rings on the plastic and unless we scrub a bit they don't come off easily. We've taken to using windex to clean it but that's a bit unwieldly - I would have expected a quick rinse would do it but it doesn't. I do think for those that have a dishwasher and can throw this in that this is a great choice for kids and snacks and so on. Overall we do think it is o.k. but perhaps for our uses a simple towel that can be thrown in the washing machine is a better option.

Thin, durable non-stick mat
I originally intended to use this as a lunchtime placemat for the kitchen table, but the size is a little too small for that so I put it to use in a few other places.I use it on the counter top next to the sink where I put mixing bowls, spoons, spatulas and other tools rather than use the cutting board during dinner prep. It keeps things from sliding and protects my Corian countertops from scratches. At the moment is it sitting on the end table in the family room acting as a very large drink coaster and wood protector. My husband also uses it as a place to put his keys, coins and whatever was in his pockets. It stays firmly in place even on the smooth wood surface.It is very easy to clean and washes nicely with soapy water. It's very thin but had a sturdy, durable feel. It's not going to fall apart any time soon. No complaints, this is a nice product. I wish it came in a few other colors and it's a little pricy, but overall I'm satisfied.
