Worked well for fixing our AC coil leak
Our rooftop AC unit developed a tiny crack in the coil next to a misplaced screw when installed. My man is a skilled welder so in an attempt to potentially save thousands of dollars on buying/installing a brand new coil, we removed it ourselves and used this to repair the hole in the copper tube as well as to reinstall the coil into the unit. He tore out a section of the fin pack about an inch around the hole and cleaned it as best he could. He flowed argon through the coil (any inert gas should work) while using a propane torch to braze the hole closed (definitely want some good ventilation for that part). Back up on the roof, we did the same thing to the two copper pipe fittings to reinstall the coil into the unit. Our AC guy came out, did a pressure test, and a vacuum test/clean on the system and bam... we have AC again!!

Zero Strength - Peeled with Pliers
After brazing, I grabbed the joint with pliers and it peeled right off like solder. No structural strength whatsoever.

Comparable to name brand
Great price point, compared to buying at brick and mortar supply house. Seemed to flow very well, comparable to the name brand Silfos from Lucas-Milhaupt. The sticks are way shorter length wise than the name brand ones, but you can just melt two sticks together if you need the added length. Would be great if they came in a resealable container, that would be my only recommendation for improvement

Going to be using for HVAC later but Whirlpool Fridge is Working (deicer)
Used this with Whirlpool Top refrigerator so ICE buildup melts accordingly. It is doing exactly that in one of our fridge. Hoping to install on another fridge to see if it is working as expected.

Do not buy!!
Definitely not a 15% silver brazing rod. Requires too much heat even on smaller cooper lineset sizes. I compare it to a 0% brazing rod. Price point is what made me purchase this. I wouldn’t buy again. I used it on one job and ended up regretting the decision. Sticks are brittle huge waste of time.

It worked to braze OK, but no label of alloy contents..
The 40 rod, 10" package had no indication of the contents of the metal. I discovered a covered up label in Chinese that had 15% on it. I hope it means 15% silver. I decided to test it and it actually worked OK to braze copper pipes. This was my first attempt at brazing, so I didn't know what to expect. I took a star off because the lack of labeling leaves you wondering if you received the 15% silver. I would get longer-20"- rods in the future.

Iron Pipe Repair Crumbled at a Touch
Used to repair an iron pipe. It looked okay when cooled, but the solder crumbled into powder when lightly sanded. The bond is extremely weak, unable to withstand any pressure or vibration.

Good for me (DIYer)
I needed to braze some copper tubing and it worked. I am not a pro so I will reframe of talking about how fluid it is or it I can notice the amount of silver in it. It worked for me at a fraction of a price of other brazing bars.
