I bought these pads for my nesting box as they appeared to be easy to use. My hens seem to like them. They are easy to remove and replace in one piece.

I have a chicken coop with a dozen chickens and I had been previously using Aspen shavings as bedding in their nest boxes. I purchased these when I built a new coop and wanted to try something else for the next boxes. The bedding is soft, highly absorbent, stays clean and once the chickens get in there they can arrange the fibers how they like it. It usually doesn't take them long to make a nest out of it. I love the paper bottom that holds the whole thing together and makes it super easy to clean. I find that I don't have to change these nearly as much as I used to with the old bedding I used, and my chickens don't tend to poop in their nests with this stuff. The other day I came back to see a nest box I had poop in it and all it took was to remove the old pad and replace it with a new one. Easy as pie. I compost the used up pads. These were a game changer. Very satisfied, if you have backyard flock and want to make their nests as cozy as possible I highly recommend these!

I love these nest box pads. My chickens now no longer lay in random places in the coop. They use all three nest boxes, and they do not poop on these pads. I’ve used the same three for six weeks with no problems. The eggs are clean as are the nest boxes, and the chickens do not scratch the pads to pieces. Perfect!

I've had two groups of leg horn chickens. The first group was a year old and they took right to them. The second group was 10 weeks old and the proceeded to dismantle the pads quickly Will try them again after they start laying right now the chopped straw is working well for the younger group.

I originally purchased this to use for a rabbit that I rescued that was pregnant. Unfortunately I ordered it too late and she had her bunnies before it showed up. Now it’s being used as a bantam nesting box. I love how it snaps together and it’s very sturdy!

Keeps the coop nesting box nice and clean also helps with eggs staying clean. Chickens love to scratch it and just sit in it. Great value! Will buy more

I have hens that are 3 years old. They've been laying in their nesting boxes since they started laying. Put these pads in and covered with the usual straw they've always had and they stopped laying in the nesting boxes. They kick all the straw out of the nesting boxes and now lay on the floor of the coop where the straw lands.
