Easy to read, great illustrations
I bought this book instead of paying for an online video club membership, which would cost about 10 time more. I am 6 days into the workout and love it so far. The excercies are pretty easy but you can still really feel your muscles working.

I can accommodate my handicap by doing many of these exercises in my exercise pool.

Nicely laid out and illustrated but thin on information
What I really noticed and appreciated about this book was that there was an illustration for each exercise and it was easy to follow. The book was also true to its claim that the daily routines were a maximum of 10 minutes. However, the book's title says "to lose weight" and it also claims that there's a 28 day fat burn program. There isn't any information as to how these exercises will make you lose weight and the "28 day fat burn program" is really only 3 different exercises per day for 28 days. Based on the title and the book's claims, I thought there would be more in-depth information as to how the gentle exercises would combine with a nutrition program, tailored for Seniors that would help Seniors lose weight. While these exercises alone will help with flexibility, etc., it's hard to fathom how they'll help you to lose weight. This book targets a huge need within the Senior population, but doesn't deliver on the effective information to achieve that goal.

Wall Pilates for Seniors to Lose Weight
This book is fantastic! It tells why you gain weight over 60. Also, all you need is a wall, comfortable clothes and shoes. Plus for 28 days you are given a 10 minute low-impact exercise with illustrations on how to do the exercises. I can’t wait to try this out tonight.

Great for beginners!
I’m old, overweight and out of shape…but I found this book easy to keep up with and never hurt myself at all! Well organized and short but great sessions. I’m getting her book on chair yoga next. Thank you!

Simple and Easy to Follow
UPDATE: I've actually tried to follow this book and I've lowered my review.There are no long winded explanations here, just a few easy guidelines. The exercises take only a few minutes of your time for each day. That is the beauty of this book, but also its flaw. You'll only benefit if you're in poor condition. But there are several exercises that there's no way I'd even attempt now, such as the Back Arc Position. That was tough when I was 25 and in pretty good shape and still flexible but now I'm 40 years older. I can't do that. A lot of the exercises are on the floor. I've had a hip replacement, the other hip is on its way out, my knees are killing me and the book wants to me get on the floor. I can do that, but I'll really struggle to get up off the floor.This has ended up being an exercise book for people who are already in very good condition.
