It's OK, but not what I expected.Pros: the board and pieces are aesthetically pleasing and the screen display is awesome.Cons: It does not have training module and is not as user friendly as Excalibur brands. Also, when the battery runs out and you go to change them, it is difficult to get started after changing to new batteries. I figured it out after pressing the reset button. Even then it hesitated to restart.

This is a very strong chess computer! Very hard to beat! Excellent for strong chess players!

Pieces are a little small but plays fantastic. No complaints at all.

I am very satisfied with this product. Compact but sturdy, nice little chess pieces, intuitive menu, many play levels from absolute beginner to expert, very sensitive board. It’s possible to review a game after it’s completed, or saved, using the two player analysis mode. I like it’s playing style at low levels as it resembles human play. In summary: if you love computer chess and are tired of computer screens go for it.

Bought a femuey chess set that didn't work. This one works well. It takes a little time to figure out everything, but it works well. It's small, which i like because it fits in my lap. Magnets are just strong enough to hold the peices in place. Peices are nothing to brag about, but i didn't get it for it's appearance. Levels are good. Probably not for experts. I am not very good, but I think it does everything out says it will do.

9 year old grandson lives it

Very easy to start up, excellent programs to help improve your chess game. Fun to play, many different levels. The board, the pieces and the chess programs work well together. Excellent for openings and best moves. Just sorry I didn't get it before. If you really like learning chess in a fun way, get it.

Me ha gustado mucho la forma de jugar de este ajedrez electrónico, pues parece que estás jugando talmente contra un humano, y no hace los movimientos absurdos que por ejemplo hacen los bots de chess.com o Lichess. El nivel del juego es alto, así que si tu nivel es bajo, te aconsejo que desactives que el computador utilice los dos libros de aperturas que tiene y dsactiva también que "piense" de forma continua, pues en este modo el ordenador sigue pensando durante tu tiempo de juego. Pon también el modo de juego "Entretenido" que es el más fácil, aunque tiene 9 niveles. Por otra parte, además de diversos modos de juego tiene tres estilos diferentes, normal, agresivo o defensivo, por lo que combinando todos estos estilos tienes infinitas posibilidades. Me ha gustado también el modo que puedes activar una opción de tutor en que te advierte de movimientos que cree erróneos por tu parte, y también, cuando no sabes qué pieza mover, puedes pedirle consejo.También puedes retroceder movimientos y guardar y cargar varias partidas.En fin, me ha parecido un dispositivo interesantisimo para cualquier apasionado al ajedrez que disfrute jugando partidas offline, contra un ordenador que reacciona como un humano. (mis felicitaciones a los programadores)Los únicos inconvenientes vienen derivados de su pequeño tamaño: piezas y tablero pequeñitos a los que tienes que acostumbrarte, pero todo es a cambio de una gran portabilidad.También está el hecho de que los movimientos del ordenador los tienes que hacer tú, moviendo las piezas, siguiendo el esquema que aparece en la pantallita que tiene a todo color.También me hubiera gustado que incluyera una cajita rígida para guardar las piezas en vez de la bolsa de tela incluida, que es un poco fea.Ah! ...Y el idioma de los menús de pantalla se pueden poner en español!

Es war als Geschenk für meine, im Mai 2026 90 Jahre gewordene, Mama gedacht. Das Spiel ist sein Geld wert. Es ist fantastisch. Es ist leicht zu bedienen, die Figuren sind angenehm anzufassen, und der Computer funktioniert. Da meine Mama es aber nicht nutzen wird, wurde es zurück gesendet. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen, und als Geschenk ist es wirklich sehr gut geeignet.
