Soft and supportive
I recently purchased the 6 Pairs Merino Wool Ankle Running Hiking Socks, and I must say, they have surpassed my expectations in terms of comfort, support, and performance. Here's a detailed review based on my experience:Comfort and SoftnessFrom the moment I put them on, I noticed how incredibly soft these socks are. The merino wool blend provides a luxurious feel against the skin, which makes them perfect for long runs and hikes. They offer just the right amount of warmth without being too heavy or causing overheating.Support and CushioningOne of the standout features of these socks is the excellent support they offer. The compression support around the arch and ankle gives a snug fit, which is essential for preventing blisters and reducing fatigue during prolonged activities. The thick cushioning is another highlight, providing an extra layer of comfort that feels like walking on clouds. This cushioning also helps absorb impact, making each step feel more energized and less taxing on the feet.BreathabilityDespite the thick cushioning, these socks are highly breathable. The merino wool naturally wicks away moisture, keeping my feet dry even during intense workouts. This breathability is crucial in preventing unpleasant odors and maintaining overall foot health.PerformanceThese socks have genuinely added an extra bounce to my step. Whether I’m running on trails or hiking up steep inclines, the combination of cushioning and support translates to a more enjoyable and less strenuous experience. The added spring in my step helps with endurance and reduces the impact on my joints.ConclusionOverall, the 6 Pairs Merino Wool Ankle Running Hiking Socks are an outstanding choice for anyone looking for high-quality, supportive, and comfortable socks. They excel in providing the necessary support and cushioning for high-impact activities while maintaining breathability and durability. I highly recommend these socks to runners, hikers, and anyone in need of reliable and comfortable foot support.

Good merino socks
Have been very happy with these socks. Comfy and durable. Worn on some warm days in the summer and they hold up well.

Size does not match, quality questionable. Updated review.
Nice sock when new. Feels thick in the right places. What is definitely not good is the size and quality.Ordered L for size 9. As indicated. This size should accommodatie up to 11.Definitely impossible. They are very tight. ( see other reviews )I am afraid that after wash they will even shrink to size 8.Quality at heel area: is wearing out very quickly. I am wearing them with plastic clogs open heel so no rubbing but still signs of wear. ( see other reviews )Could have been better if the yarn used had quality. But sellers don’t understand that anymore. Commodity product for them.Update: after washing they hold well the size. That is a good thing. If they adjust the initial size chart to actual it would have been 5 stars.

Thick and soft and surprisingly good quality for the price
There have been some comments that the largest size of these socks (7- 11 UK) do not fit size 10 or 11. I am size 10 and I have wide feet and they fit me fine - at least before washing. Of course I would only wash wool at 30C max. Probably these comments are by people who have washed them at 40C or even 60C thinking they are the same as cotton socks. The socks are soft and have a lovely feel. they are quite thick on the sole but less thick on the top for breathibility. I am wearing them in late spring in SE England and they are perfect but no doubt would be great for autumn and winter too - maybe even on many cooler summer days. Merino wool has a particular ability to be cool in hot weather and warm in cool weather. My only minor quibble would be the brown colour pair of socks. It's not a particularly nice colour IMO. Much better to replace it with a colour like light blue or cold orange colour..

Very Poor Quality
At first glance socks appeared OK but on first wearing a pair one developed a hole at the heel within one day. Upon examination of the other five unused pairs another had the same hole and the rest looked weak at the same point. I don't think they would stand up to any wear and tear. The one pair I wore also showed signs of balling after one use. I wish I had read the reviews. Buy cheap, buy twice. Thankfully Amazon refunded my purchase and I returned the socks.
